Yandere girls and my fragmented daily life - Chapter 9
Ling Fan made a beeline for home without making any detours along the way. After indulging in a satisfying meal and refreshing beverages, he was excited to engage in some leisurely gaming.
Just as he turned on his computer, his phone rang. He took out his phone and noticed that Su Wen was calling.
“Hello, Sister Su. Good evening. Is there something you need at this hour?” Before Su Wen could speak, Ling Fan took the initiative to greet her.
“Good evening, Ling Fan. You sound like you are in a good mood. Did you successfully hit it off with a young lady?” Su Wen’s light laughter rang through the phone.
… Do you have some kind of clairvoyant? Ling Fan thought to himself, but of course, he didn’t dare to say it out loud.
“Sister Su, you’re joking again. How could anyone be interested in someone like me?”
“Oh? Is that so, Little brother? I think MoRan is quite interested.” Su Wen seemed even more amused.
“Sister Su, you are killing this conversation. I know you are joking, but if Su MoRan hears it, it could complicate things. Furthermore, early romance isn’t necessarily a good thing. Where is the generation gap that we discussed? And where is your elder’s authority?” Ling Fan couldn’t help but grumble a little.
As Su Wen grew more acquainted with Ling Fan, she noticed that he was different from other kids and began teasing him from time to time, making him blush every time.
“By the way, Sister Su, why did you call me? I still need to prepare the tutoring materials for Su MoRan tomorrow.” Ling Fan could already tell that Su Wen, on the other end of the phone, was laughing uncontrollably, so it was better to ask about the purpose of the call quickly. It’s never wise to reason with women.
“Oh, right. Tomorrow, MoRan’s dad and I will be out on business, and the nanny is on leave. We would like you to look after MoRan and take her out for lunch and dinner; of course, all expenses will be covered, and your time will be compensated at the tutoring rate. Does that work for you?”
“Sister Su, let me think about it.” Ling Fan did not give an immediate response.
If it’s just taking her out for lunch and dinner, it’s not a big deal.
“I have a tutoring session at the LinJian Garden from 2 to 5 p.m. tomorrow. You know about this, right? Except for this time slot, I’m available.”
“I know, you’re tutoring the Xu family’s young lady. By the way, my husband has recently met Xu ZhongHao.”
“If that’s fine, then I can agree to it. However, if it’s just having lunch and dinner, there’s no need to be so formal about calculating the payment.” Ling Fan didn’t ask any further; the relationship between the two families wasn’t important to him.
“Great, it’s settled then. I’ll hand you the keys in the morning, and you can return them to MoRan when you leave in the evening.”
“Wait a minute, Sister Su, are you really that trusting to leave Su MoRan with me and hand me the keys? I’m a normal teenage boy, you know! Su MoRan is adorable; aren’t you concerned that I’ll make rash decisions? Show me some respect!” Ling Fan couldn’t help but complain.
“You think MoRan is adorable? If I tell MoRan about this, she’ll be so happy she won’t be able to sleep all night.”
“That’s not the point I’m making!”
“Pfft, my husband and I trust you. Plus, with what you just said, I’m even more assured. Also, it’s only the front door key. Don’t get so worked up, little brother.”
“And it was MoRan who asked you to look after her. Since she trusts you so much, I definitely choose to trust my daughter too!”
“….” Isn’t Su Wen worried that maybe he’s been brainwashing Su MoRan all this time, just waiting for this day?
Ling Fan was really out of things to say.
“Alright, as you said, MoRan is the obedient type. It shouldn’t be too hard to take care of her. I agree to help.”
“Thank you so much, Ling Fan. You’ve been a great help. See you tomorrow~”
“See you tomorrow.”
It seemed that his dignity as a man had been totally disregarded. With that thought, Ling Fan collapsed on his bed like a deflated balloon.
Well, I’m in no mood to play games now. Better prepare the tutoring materials for Xu YanRan and Su MoRan for tomorrow.
With that in mind, Ling Fan opened his backpack and noticed a faint scent that didn’t belong to his bag.
“Ugh, I still need to clean Xue LingYun’s handkerchief.” Ling Fan tossed the handkerchief into the washing machine, only to have a sudden realization and swiftly snatch it out of mid-air. His underwear was still in the washing machine.
Throwing it in like that might make him seem like a pervert. Although he was always careful about hygiene, it would be embarrassing if it picked up any unwanted odors.
Better safe than sorry.
Ling Fan reconsidered and decided to wash it by hand. After all, he had used someone else’s things. With a grimace, Ling Fan took a basin and went to wash the handkerchief.
Ling Fan couldn’t help but remember the time he had looked up in a daze, with drool stuck at the corner of his mouth. Before he could even react, Xue LingYun had already started wiping his face with a handkerchief.
How he wished he had acted more swiftly to clean it up with his clothes back then. It would have spared him a great deal of trouble.
Damn, how did Xue LingYun react so quickly? Was it possible she had seen him drooling for an entire class?
Shaking his head, Ling Fan pushed these random thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand.
At the Xu family’s villa in LinJian Garden, Xu YanRan was lounging in her room, playing on her phone. The room was spacious, adorned with a soothing color palette of white and light blue, and impeccably organized.
Initially, Xu YanRan disliked cleaning her room and refused to let the maid clean it. However, more than a half-year ago, Xu YanRan began to pay attention to the cleanliness of her room and began having the maid help with cleaning.
She had previously invited Ling Fan to her room for tutoring, but he had vehemently refused, shaking his head like a rattle drum and insisting he wouldn’t go.
Ling Fan wanted to avoid any misunderstandings. He didn’t want to be the subject of gossip. Therefore, all tutoring sessions were held in the living room, and Xu ZhongHao went the extra mile to buy a set of desks and chairs to make Ling Fan’s teaching more convenient.
Ling Fan had never visited Xu YanRan’s room before, and likewise, he had never stepped foot into Su MoRan’s room either.
His careful attention to detail earned him high regard from all those who met him from both families.
Xu YanRan was dressed in the custom uniform of her prestigious academy. She donned a blue-and-white plaid shirt paired with a winter pleated skirt and leggings, exuding an air of elegance.
It was evident that a lot of thought had gone into designing the school uniform. Though Xu YanRan was only in the second semester of eighth grade, her development was quite perfect.
At a height of 162 cm, her figure boasted well-defined curves and an elegant leg line that captivated the attention of all who beheld her.
Now, Xu Yanran was casually swinging her long legs. After playing with her phone for a while and feeling a bit bored, she decided to dial a familiar number.
