The Way of Life for a Terminal S-Class Hunter - C26
$26
While Lee-han’s dormitory wasn’t far, I was worried about leaving a drunk person alone.
So we arrived at my place, I slowly entered the passcode, and let Lee-han inside.
“It’s really empty, isn’t it?”
Lee-han looked dazed as he saw the dormitory room left almost in its default state. Even Seo-heon had told me several times to move to a larger house, and had actually tried to drag me to live in a spacious home.
“I’m rarely home, so having a big place with lots of stuff is just bothersome.”
That’s why I got rid of the room Seo-heon gave me in less than a month. I didn’t like being alone in a big house.
“Still, this is a bit extreme…”
I didn’t want to hear nagging from Lee-han too. I quickly laid him on the bed and fumbled to take out a blanket from the built-in closet, spreading it on the floor below the bed.
“Go to sleep. I’ll wash up and come back.”
Lee-han was lying on his side, blankly observing my movements. I wanted to say something, but overcome by a surprisingly strong wave of drowsiness, I chose to wash up quickly instead.
“You’re going to sleep down there?”
Lee-han asked incredulously when he saw me lying on the bedding on the floor after washing up.
“Good night.”
I was extremely sleepy.
“Even your drinking habits are so proper.”
I vaguely heard Lee-han’s voice, but couldn’t tell if it was a dream or reality.
***
My body was hot. While it was common to feel hot right after drinking, I had never heard of a hangover raising body temperature.
“Ugh…”
I tried to ignore it and sleep, but the symptoms only worsened. Now my body was even starting to itch. It was a symptom I had experienced yesterday.
“Gasp!”
The moment I realized this, I jumped up and touched the nape of my neck. Hot heat was rising from the seal.
I thought it had been resolved after last time…
Frantically checking the clock, I saw it was approaching 7 o’clock. I had hoped it wasn’t the case, but it was.
[Due to decreased body durability, all skills will be deactivated for one minute.]
Along with the notification heralding dawn, my skills were officially terminated. My mind became hazy with a mix of pain and ecstasy.
I can’t lose consciousness.
I bit down hard and got up. I shouldn’t show this state to Lee-han lying next to me. If he found out, I felt like I would never be able to face him again.
“Ugh, hic…”
Careful not to wake the softly sleeping Lee-han, I rummaged through the drawer and took out a box cutter. Without hesitation, I stabbed my palm with the blade. When the low-durability weapon failed to wound my body, I even used a skill.
Drip, drip.
Drops of blood fell on the desk. My vision gradually cleared and I became slightly more lucid. But it was only momentary. If I didn’t inflict stronger pain, my consciousness would drift away again, and it was impossible to keep causing high-intensity pain.
I need to get out of here first. If I stay, I’ll cause trouble.
Aggravating the open wound, I opened the front door. Fortunately, Lee-han was in a deep sleep from the alcohol. I leaned my head against the door and exhaled ragged breaths.
I managed to get out without Lee-han noticing, but… I needed to find a place to be alone. At this hour, the only place I could go to avoid others’ eyes was my office. Having to avoid employees working late was a downside, but I had no other choice.
I dragged my staggering body forward.
“Ugh…”
But gradually, just tearing at the wound wasn’t enough to prevent my fading consciousness. Even digging my nails into the wound didn’t cause pain anymore, as the stimulation to my body was too strong. The office, not even a five-minute walk away, felt distant.
Then suddenly, my memory cut off.
“Woo-hyun, what are you doing here?”
When I came to my senses, Seo-heon was looking down at me. I couldn’t tell if this was a dream, delusion, or reality. I desperately hoped it wasn’t reality.
“Hnngh… What about you?”
Seo-heon lifted me up from the cold floor where I had collapsed. Almost cradled in his arms, I looked around and was greeted by a familiar scene.
It was the house Seo-heon had lived in since becoming independent. When did I come here? I gaped in shock. What was even more incomprehensible was that my body felt much better than before.
Was it because my skills had returned?
My speculation didn’t last long. As soon as I touched Seo-heon, my body, which had briefly calmed down, inflated its desires even more strongly, as if it had never been docile. I bit my lip hard, trying not to let moans escape.
“Why is your body so hot? Is this blood?”
Noticing something was off about my condition, Seo-heon quickly checked the back of my neck. He must have discovered the seal, swollen like a fresh tattoo.
“Why has the poison spread again? Wasn’t your detox skill starting to work again?”
“Hnngh… I thought so…”
I had no energy to say more. It just felt like I would die if something didn’t enter me right now. I felt something trickling down my thigh. Despite no stimulation, slick fluid had started flowing from behind.
I had never thought I was afraid of dying. But when I suddenly felt that I might burn to death from this fiery sensation, I became unexpectedly scared.
Was this emotion due to the unfamiliarity of the current sensation? Or was I actually afraid of death?
“Let’s go inside for now.”
Seo-heon carried me with one arm and used his other hand to press his fingerprint and open the door.
“I… I want to leave.”
As we entered his house, a familiar and nostalgic scent spread.
This is dangerous.
I struggled, trying to break free from Seo-heon.
“Me… send me to my office. May-maybe if I take the antidote, I’ll be okay.”
Ignoring my words, Seo-heon headed straight for the bedroom. The spotlessly clean room with its deep woody scent, familiar furniture and layout… I felt like I was suffocating even though no one was blocking my breath. The illusion of returning to my student days tormented me.
“Whether that succubus was special or your skills and body can’t resist this kind of sexual poison…”
Seo-heon rarely trailed off mid-sentence.
“The seal embedded in your neck seems to have recognized me as the antidote. Taking other medicine won’t help.”
At Seo-heon’s words, the wall I had forcibly built to endure crumbled.
I couldn’t bring myself to tell him to pretend he didn’t know.
“Your body instinctively sought me out.”
He told me deliberately. Somehow, those words seemed tinged with a strange heat.
Is he angry?
It was a situation where he had every right to be furious. I writhed, using my last bit of strength to try to escape from the bed.
“You came here on your own, and now you’re trying to run away? Didn’t you think I’d go crazy if you disappeared like this?”
Seo-heon caught me as I tried to flee and put me back on the bed. The strength was gradually leaving my body. The moment I completely admitted defeat, Seo-heon removed my top.
The damp clothes were slowly peeled off, rubbing against my skin.
“You’ve turned your hands into rags.”
After throwing my clothes on the floor, Seo-heon stroked my hand and brought it to his mouth. As I watched, wondering what he was going to do in my feverish state, he started licking the blood.
“What… what are you doing…”
“If you were going to do this, you should have called me earlier.”
Seo-heon bared his teeth and bit my wound. Of course it didn’t hurt, but feeling teeth on the gouged flesh sent shivers down my spine. Despite this, there was no pain. Every sensation Seo-heon gave felt good.
“Let’s treat your hands first.”
Seo-heon took out a potion from his inventory and poured it on my hand without hesitation. It must have been a high-grade potion, but he showed no sign of finding it wasteful. My flesh regenerated with a tingling sensation.
After confirming my hand had fully healed, Seo-heon licked my palm again. I could feel his determination not to leave even a single drop of blood.
“Hnngh, hic. No… Seo-heon, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have come to you.”
“Then who else were you going to go to? That’s what’s not allowed.”
Seo-heon’s tone was rough, like an angry person. In fact, I might have been perceiving it that way because I wasn’t in my right mind.
“Hic, hnngh. It hurts, it hurts.”
He bit my nipple more roughly than last time. I didn’t know what had excited him, but somehow his movements seemed urgent.
“Ahh, ugh.”
It should have hurt, but the pain starting from my nipple spread through my body, giving a subtle pleasure. A desire for him to suck harder flashed through my mind.
“It’s standing up here. Are you usually this sensitive, or is it because of the poison?”
Seo-heon didn’t seem to expect an answer even as he asked. His hand touched my swollen, red nipple while his mouth moved lower. Unlike last time when he had quickly inserted himself to resolve the poison, this was different. More strange, more dangerous – a warning rang in my head.
Is this really treatment?
Seo-heon’s tongue traced my stomach. With each downward movement of his tongue, my body trembled. Every place he passed felt like it had been burned. Even my hand felt hot as it followed that trail.
Seo-heon’s mouth, which had been moving agonizingly slowly downward, finally reached my pants.
