The Villain's End Is Pregnancy - C115
“You, you bad guy! This is all because of you…!”
Ryan bit the fingers tightly holding his hand. Not satisfied with just that, he kept chewing on them.
“Originally I couldn’t get pregnant! A man! Getting pregnant!”
He was completely out of his mind. Since the first labor pain, the agony showed no signs of retreating. It just repeated – feeling a little better, then going crazy with pain and throbbing again, with nothing really improving.
“It hurts, it hurts. I’m saying it hurts. Why am I in so much pain? How long do I have to endure this?”
As soon as he asked while crying, a trembling voice was heard.
“I’m sorry, Ryan. Just bear with it a little longer. It’ll be okay, I’m sorry.”
However, even the apology that came out twice sounded hateful. Because he knew that all this suffering was because of the man holding his hand.
When he glanced to the side, he was startled. It was because his alpha’s expression, which was always composed, looked so agonized.
“You, why are you like that?”
“I didn’t know you’d suffer this much. I had no idea it would be like this at all. If I had known, I would have done better. I guess I was too irresponsible. I should have been more attentive.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Hendrick poured out his feelings. His voice was trembling uncontrollably.
“What are you saying…”
I don’t know why he’s blaming himself when he’s already done more than enough.
“Hendrick, instead of saying strange things, watch over the baby coming out into the world for me. Make sure to hug them and praise them for coming.”
“I will. I will, so Ryan, please don’t hate me.”
Why is he acting childish when he never does? It was so ridiculous that laughter escaped even in the midst of pain. Thanks to that, the tension eased a little.
Come to think of it, the reason Ryan was enduring such a painful moment was because of his child. His and Hendrick’s child. To meet the lovely fruit of their love.
“Just a little, just hold on a little longer.”
“Prince Consort, it’s almost done. We’re really about to start now. You’ve done well.”
Only then did he hear words of encouragement from around him, trying to reassure him. Then he felt an unfamiliar presence approaching besides Hendrick.
Looking in the direction of the sound, it was the court physician wearing a cloth mask.
“Now, Lord Ryan. You’re going to sleep now. And when you wake up again, you’ll meet the baby, so don’t worry.”
At that sound, he realized the surroundings were hazy with mist. It was a sleep-inducing fragrance. Once aware, he could feel his consciousness gradually blurring.
“Now, if you just drink this one cup of tea, we’ll begin.”
When Ryan looked up with questioning eyes, Hendrick explained instead of the court physician. He too had his mouth and nose covered by now.
“It’s tea with a numbing agent to ease the pain. It will also make you sleep more deeply. It won’t harm your body, so don’t worry.”
His alpha must have checked more thoroughly since it was medicine he was taking. With that trust, Ryan obediently moved as he supported his body and brought the teacup to his mouth.
After drinking the slightly sweet tea and lying down, a gentle hand stroked his hair, forehead, and cheeks.
“You did well. Now close your eyes and sleep deeply.”
“…Hendrick.”
As soon as those words ended, an overwhelming drowsiness began to pour in. Ryan unconsciously gripped his alpha’s hand tightly.
“I’m sorry for biting you… Don’t worry, I’m not resenting you…”
“It’s okay. You can hate me as much as you want.”
The alpha’s gentle voice, saying he would always prioritize him, wrapped around his ears and seeped deep inside.
“See you later, Ryan. Let’s greet the child together when you wake up.”
Take care of them first, I said. Really, until the end. Ryan closed his eyes while grumbling inwardly but also feeling touched.
Before sinking completely under sleep, he smelled his alpha’s scent through his nose. Fresh yet comforting, and also soft and gentle.
A faint smile appeared on Ryan’s lips, and careful fingertips caressed around it.

Consciousness slowly returned. First he heard sounds, then felt a slightly warm temperature. After some time had passed, a tingling smell came to him.
‘What is it?’
He slowly raised his eyes. Then the ceiling painting in pastel tones first filled his vision. The familiar image of pink and white clouds, colorful flowers and trees, butterflies and birds of various colors, deer and rabbits, and baby angels with beautiful alphas and omegas was painted.
“Huh?”
It was exactly what Hendrick had suggested using as the ceiling painting for decorating the child’s room.
“Are you awake, Prince Consort!”
It was then that the title, still unfamiliar even after hearing it, was heard. Turning his head while lying down, he saw a maid holding a silver tray standing with a bright expression.
“Please wait a moment, I’ll inform the Prince!”
Then she disappeared swiftly before Ryan could say anything.
“The baby…”
How is the baby? Are they well? When did I wake up? He wanted to ask such things, but it seemed he would have to wait for next time.
Left alone quickly, Ryan exhaled deeply and lowered his gaze. His belly, which had been greatly swollen for months, had deflated as if it had never happened, returning to its original state.
“Is it all fine?”
Since he couldn’t remember a single thing, such thoughts even came to mind. Unable to resist his curiosity, Ryan quietly pulled up the top he was wearing.
“Ah…”
Then a bandaged belly was revealed.
“No wonder it felt a bit sore.”
Once aware, the pain gradually rose and seemed to throb. Unable to rub it, he just placed his hand on it gently, when outside became noisy.
Trying to get up but giving up because he couldn’t muster any strength, Ryan turned his head towards the door again, and as if on cue, the closed gap opened wide.
“Ryan!”
At the same time, he heard a voice calling him and saw his alpha walking hurriedly towards him.
“Are you okay? Does anything hurt?”
Hendrick, who approached the bed in an instant, frantically examined his omega’s complexion and physical condition while throwing out questions.
Seeing how tense and worried he had been, Ryan answered obediently.
“Yes, other than feeling a bit dazed. But how long have I been asleep?”
“About half a day has passed.”
“Not as long as I thought.”
“For me, it was a long time until you woke up.”
It feels like I’ve opened my eyes after several days. While blinking dazedly, Hendrick gently stroked around his eyes.
“If you’re tired, rest more.”
“It’s okay. My belly feels a bit sore, but I think that’s because it was cut and closed.”
“Cut…”
The expression of how could you say such a thing was a bit funny. However, his belly condition wasn’t good enough to laugh loudly, so Ryan, who barely calmed down, asked about the most curious matter.
“So, how’s Jadu?”
He looked at the doorway while asking. He had already noticed the people waiting at the entrance. Four omega wet nurses who had already greeted Ryan a few weeks ago to take care of the child.
A round cloth in the arms of the oldest and most experienced omega among them.
Hendrick’s gaze moved there too.
“Come here.”
At his command, the group of wet nurses tried to approach all at once as if they had been waiting. However, Hendrick immediately stopped them.
“Countess Warwick.”
At the call for only one of them to come, only the middle-aged omega carefully holding the soft cloth bundle approached the bed.
Ryan felt his heart pounding. It was hard to take his eyes off the approaching person. However, the meeting had not yet taken place.
“Hand it to me.”
Because Hendrick blocked her way and received the cloth bundle she was holding.
And then he turned around.
By now, a gentle smile was on his face. At the warm expression that could only appear when looking at a beloved and precious being, Ryan’s heartbeat made an even louder noise.
“Now, Ryan. Say hello.”
Finally, Hendrick slowly showed the inside of the bundle he was holding. Inside was a small, fair face wrapped in soft cloth.
“Ah…”
How can it be so lovely? As Ryan let out a small sound, feeling heat rising in his eyes and his nose tingling, the baby, who had been quiet until then, suddenly frowned, wrinkled its nose, and opened its mouth.
At the same time.
“Uu, uwe, uwaaah, uwaah.”
A clear, transparent cry burst from the baby. Ryan was flustered by the crying baby looking at him and quickly looked up at his alpha.
“Oh my… Jadu. Don’t cry. Are you happy to meet your father? This kid was being so mature until now.”
Even as Hendrick soothed the baby, the crying showed no signs of stopping.
“It’s okay, Ryan. It’s because they feel safe meeting you. They didn’t even cry and waited.”
His face was still full of smiles as he said everyone had mistaken them for a mature baby who didn’t even cry because they were so quiet.
“Really?”
“Yes. So now hug and comfort them.”
“Umm…”
Just as he was about to put the baby on his arms, another “uwaah” cry was heard. Ryan, not knowing what to do, patted the bundle gently.
For a while, the room was filled with the baby’s whining cries asking why they were only finding him now, and the novice father’s apologies for being late.
It was a warm and lovely scene that would continue for several years to come.
