The Ultimate Glitch ~One Man Conquers a Dungeon That Humanity Couldn’t Conquer for Hundreds of Years, in Only Two Hours~ - Chapter 34
Alessandro
Chapter 34
Reid gathered a few people in a room – Bazel, Fyne, their parents, Daniel, and two other elders.
Reid had intended to talk to everyone eventually, but first, he wanted to hear what the village chief would say so they could decide on when was the best time to reveal everything.
They were nine in the room, including Reid and Orchid. They sat around a long antique desk.
“The power I’m using to travel,” he started, “is the one of the Magic Book. I found it at the bottom of a dungeon.”
Everyone was dumbfounded. “What? What do you mean by that,” said Bazel as he stood up. Rumors of dungeons being captured had reached his ears, but he never could’ve imagined that they were about Reid. “You are the Dungeon Conqueror…”
“Yes, I am.”
Everyone else fell silent, too shocked to speak. Fyne looked around and said, “Is that really so amazing?”
Axel smiled at how naive his daughter was. “The dungeons were discovered several hundreds of years ago, and yet not a single person was able to conquer them. Reid is the first Conqueror.”
Fyne blinked. “Wow, that’s crazy! Reid, you’re amazing!”
The village chief, Daniel, cleared his throat. “So, Reid, what are you going to do from now on? If you have that kind of power, you can do whatever you want, you don’t need us.”
Reid shook his head. “My wish is to create a place where Ordos can live and not be discriminated against.”
“Really?” Fyne was perplexed. Ordos were used to being treated like that. Fyne’s words sounded like an unattainable dream.
But Reid was serious.
“In this place,” he continued, “I want to create a country for us, Ordos.”

At the same time, the Alessandro delegation entered the Royal Castle of Morgalea.
The diplomat Sarius McGarden, who was in charge of the delegation, took a seat in front of the Prime Minister, Demitrius, and Mars.
Sarius had a gentle expression in comparison to the other two, who were really tense. They all knew this meeting was not a normal meeting.
Sarius started to talk. “It’s been a while. How have you been, Demitrius?” “I’m good.”
Sarius nodded. “We came here today to discuss the appearance of the new continent and the disappearance of our Floating Island.”
“Sarius,” started Demitrius, “I knew we’d have to talk about the new continent,
but…”
“But?”
“The disappearance of the Floating Island doesn’t have anything to do with
Morgalea. I think it’s rather inappropriate of you to even bring it up.”
Sarius faked being shocked. “Really? I thought it was someone from Morgalea who had conquered our dungeon, but I guess I’m wrong, is it?”
“It seems to be a domestic issue on your part so we cannot answer that,” replied Mars with a frown.
Sarius shook his head and tapped his fingers on the table. “Ah, this is troublesome.
Then how do you explain that the Floating Island was taken to Morgalea?”
“That, I…” He knew there was a floating castle offshore, but he didn’t know how or why. Unable to deny it, Demitrius bit the inside of his cheek.
“We didn’t think the whole thing had something to do with Morgalea either at first, but now that there’s a floating castle on your shores, we can’t push away the possibility that someone from Morgalea had stolen the treasure from our dungeon, don’t you think?”
Neither Demitrius nor Mars could answer.
“Of course,” continued Sarius, “the floating castle must be returned to Alessandro.
Do you have any objections?”
“Even if we say we’ll return it to you,” started Demitrius, “we have no control over that castle. There’s nothing we can do right now.”
Sarius groaned. “I see.” He leaned back on his chair and crossed his arms. “That’s troublesome. The Emperor has asked me to negotiate peacefully with you, but if the floating castle is not returned to Alessandro, I don’t think I can do that.”
“What do you mean?,” asked Mars.
Sarius sighed. “Although this situation on your end is unintentional, I have no choice but to regard it as a hostile act against our country. I must intervene with force, I hope you understand.” He grinned.
“Wait,” started Demitrius, pleading, “this is too hasty. We have no intention of being hostile to your country. Please, reconsider.”
Sarius shook his head. “I’m sorry, Demitrius.” He started walking towards the door. “Sarius! Could you at least give us some time to try and return your castle?”
The man stopped and turned around. “Alright. I give you three days. If we don’t get a favorable answer, we will use our power to get our castle back.” Sarius finally left the room.
Mars and Demitrius stared at the closed door for a moment, before Mars said, “What do you think, Demitrius? According to the reports, the Imperial Army is beginning to gather along the Alessandro borders.”
The Prime Minister sighed. “I guess they were just looking for a reason to go to
war.”
He thought that if that’s what they wanted, there was nothing else they could do
about it. He guessed the three days of waiting were enough time for Alessandro to prepare for their attack.
“Tomorrow, we have to negotiate with the Dungeon Conqueror… if it fails, our country is doomed.”
