The Ultimate Glitch ~One Man Conquers a Dungeon That Humanity Couldn’t Conquer for Hundreds of Years, in Only Two Hours~ - Chapter 28
The Ordos
Chapter 28
Reid wanted to protect the place where everyone lived, where his parents used to live. But there was no point in thinking about it now, but he couldn’t help it. The words of the villagers, however kind, made Reid’s heart tightens.
“Now,” said Axel,” we need to find a new place to live.
Reid had an idea. He walked away from everyone and took out the metallic ball from his jacket. “Baltazar.”
“Yes, Reid. What happened?”
“The people of my village have lost their houses and are in danger. Can I take them to the castle? They’re about fifty people…”
“It’s not a good idea for people to know you’re the Dungeon Conqueror,” Baltazar replied, “but it sounds like an emergency. You can take them there, but we need to figure math out for food supplies.”
“I understand. I’ll take care of it.”
Reid rushed back to the group. “Alright,” he started, “I might know where we could
go.”
The villagers were surprised and happy to hear such news – however, they knew
Reid was just a poor farmer like them.
“Reid,” said Axel, “this is very kind of you, but we can’t all trouble you.” He thought that it was a job for the elderly.
“Baltazar, please teleport everyone!”
A circle of light appeared around the villagers. In a second, they were all in the
castle.
“What is this?” One said, “is this a dream?” They all looked around them. They were
in a huge room, with beautiful statues and tall walls, with a red carpet. It looked like a noble’s house.
“Reid, what is this?,” asked Axel, as he lowered Orchid to the ground. A silver soldier approached him and took Orchid in his arms.
“You’re inside a castle,” Reid replied. “For the time being, you all can live here.” “A castle?,” said Axel, panicking, “what castle? How did we even get here?”
Reid calmed him down then told everyone to gather around him so he could explain.
“I can’t go into more details but, this is a castle of a man named Baltazar, who I met recently.” Everyone listened carefully. “That person was able to use magic to get us here. He said you can live here for a bit.”
There were many rooms in the castle and water could be pumped from the ground.
The sewerage was also in function. They could live here without any problem.
Reid didn’t want to lie to them, but they never would’ve believed the truth.
“Wait a minute, Reid,” Axel started, “that Baltazar guy… when did he even agree to this? I was with you the whole time we were in the mountain!”
Reid took out the silver ball from his pocket. He held it out in his palm. “Baltazar, please explain.”
“Sure.” Everyone was startled by the voice coming out of the ball. “I’m Baltazar. You can talk to me through this ball at any time.”
“The ball is talking…” said Axel, perplexed. “Is that magic?”
They knew magic was a thing, but they had never seen it. But after seeing this, they couldn’t doubt its existence.
“Fyne,” called Reid. “Uhm, yes?”
“I’m giving it to you. Listen to what he says and ask any question you have about living here.”
“Why me?”
“Just do it, please!” “Alright, I’ll do it.”
She took the ball and joined the other villagers to ask questions. Baltazar explained to everyone how to live in the castle.
Reid took out another metallic ball. “Baltazar, please take good care of them.” “Of course. But we have a problem.”
“What?”
“Can you come to Avalon?”
Reid went to the upper floor of the castle, to Avalon.

“Is Orchid ok?,” asked Reid
“I took her broken body to the Coffin of Zagreus to repair it. It will take a while but she’ll be ok.”
Reid sighed in relief. “Good.”
“Please watch this video.”
Reid looked at the images above him. There was a large group of ppl shown. “Who are they?”
“It’s Morgalea’s army.” “Army?!”
“Well, it’s just a few soldiers and adventurers.” “Is that so,” replied Reid. “How many are they?”
“According to the Eyes of the Stars, 156 people are walking towards the castle.” “Ah, now is not a good time…” Reid scratched his head. There were many issues
he needed to take care of, like where to find food for the villagers. “I can’t take care of the soldiers right now. Can you do it?”
“Sure.”
The Blue Knight left the room, his armor making a metallic sound as he walked. As he saw him, Reid felt relieved. He knew he could count on him and Baltazar, so he returned to Fyne and the others.
