The Ultimate Glitch ~One Man Conquers a Dungeon That Humanity Couldn’t Conquer for Hundreds of Years, in Only Two Hours~ - Chapter 25
The Shocking World
Chapter 25
In the headquarters of the Guild in Lindenburg, Morgalea, many adventurers came and went. That day, there were many reports posted on the bulletin board, where a lot of adventurers gathered.
“What’s happening?”
Gustav and Karl from Black Sword happened to stop by. “There’s a request from a noble…” answered Gustav.
“Right,” said Karl as he read the board, “an assistant escort is needed for the research team that’s going to the new continent. What do you think, Gustav?”
Obviously, the appearance of a mysterious continent off the coast of Morgalea was a hot topic amongst adventurers. It was normal for the King to send a research team there.
But one thing intrigued Gustav. “Escort, uh? Are we supposed to protect them from something?”
“I don’t know,” replied Karl, “but I understand why they’d be scared to go to an unknown place like this. But it looks like this request was posted from an eccentric nobleman, the position could be filled pretty quickly. Let’s take it, Gustav!”
Gustav accepted the request, after being pushed by Karl, even though he had a bad feeling about it.

The news about the continent only took a few days to spread around the world. While many couldn’t believe it, what grabbed the people’s attention was the fact that dungeons were being conquered one after the other.
“What do you mean our dungeon’s been conquered?!,” shouted the King of Kashrut, Pedro III. He glared at his vassals who were standing in a row before him. He was a small and large man but had a big presence.
The reason he was so angry was the fact that dungeons were not open to the public in Kashrut, only the country has the right to explore them. They never should’ve been conquered by someone else.
“So it seems, my King,” said one of the vassals, scared. “There are reports stating that there’s no more life inside the dungeon and the room on the lowest floor was completely empty.”
“This is impossible…,” the King replied, gritting his teeth.
Magellan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Yoton, was famous for being able to obtain many resources, including coal. Due to his age, he mostly confined himself to his own office.
As he was thinking about retiring and making way for the next generation, he received two strange reports. “So a continent appeared on Morgalea’s shores… was there a change in the earth’s crust?”
But he quickly moved on from the topic when he read that two dungeons had been conquered in Yoton.
When I heard that the Floating Island had fallen, rumors started circulating about dungeons being conquered, he thought, but I didn’t know if it was true…
In his office, Magellan touched his long white beard while he repeatedly asked
questions without answers.
In a meeting room closed by heavy doors, twelve generals were seated around a long table inside the castle of Germand.
All of them were veterans of war, and the aura that floated around them made out of power and intimidation represented Germand perfectly. The country was known for its military power.
The topic of discussion was, of course, the dungeons.
“What’s happening? Just when I thought I had received the most impressive news about a whole continent appearing, you’re telling me dungeons are being conquered?”
“Even in Germand we’ve tried conquering dungeons for hundreds of years and never could… How did they do it?”
The generals were both amazed and confused.
In the midst of it, Kasael Bajatt, the commander-in-chief, spoke, “conquering dungeons is a long-cherished wish of our country. Those who have accomplished it are heroes. We need to find them.”
“However, it seems like the Conqueror hasn’t come forward. It could be hard to find them.”
“Well,” started Kasael, “if they’re not from the military then they must be a famous
adventurer.” He stopped and thought, “Earlier, I had an audience with the King and he told me that we could give the Conqueror a title and a territory.”
The generals were not pleased with the idea.
“Then if we offer such a reward, then I’m sure they’ll announce themselves!”
“But,” Kasael corrected, “the treasure will have to be submitted to our government. Legend has it that an ancient weapon laid dormant on the deepest floor of our dungeon. If that’s the case, Germand will be able to achieve further development as a military power.” He stood up and looked at all the other men. “We need to find that person no matter what.”

“What?! Another dungeon has been conquered?,” said Demitrius, Prime Minister of Morgalea.
“This is a report from the Guild. It seems that the dungeon of a farming village in the southwest has become dormant. It should be the third dungeon to be conquered in our country…,” replied General Orus. Demitrius thought that since no more reports of the sort had been given to him, the Conqueror had gone abroad.
Demitrius took a big breath. “So they’re back.” He sat down on a chair in his office. “So, how’s King Alan doing?”
“Well, it seems like he left the castle with the Imperial Guard in the morning. They went to the town of Tromso.”
Demitrius sighed.
Alan had proposed to dispatch the national army to investigate the continent, but he had been turned down by the King. Although he was disobeying his father, he thought it wouldn’t be such a problem since he had only taken a few soldiers with him.
“Increase the number of people monitoring Alan’s action.” Orus nodded. “Things are about to change, in a big way.”

In Avalon, Reid inserted the crystal he got from the dungeon in Germand into the console.
“What do you think, Baltazar?” “It’s working perfectly, sir.”
