The Ultimate Glitch ~One Man Conquers a Dungeon That Humanity Couldn’t Conquer for Hundreds of Years, in Only Two Hours~ - Chapter 19
The Most Dangerous Dungeon
Chapter 19
“Oh no, we’re both gonna sink!”
Without showing any signs of worry, Orchid tried to move out but they ended up both in the mud to their waist. As it turned out, Orchid’d metal body made it harder for her to escape.
“Orchid, I’m sorry I involved you in this…”
“It’s okay if I break,” she answered, “as long as my Master is safe.”
Right, Reid thought, Orchid has to help me! Maybe if I use the book… It was a good idea, but Reid had already sunk up to his shoulders. He concentrated his mind on his right hand to conjure the book. Quickly, his face ended up drowning in the mud. Argh, he thought, I’m gonna die here… I’m sorry Orchid…
Reid couldn’t breathe. He closed his eyes, ready to meet his faith – when his ass
met the ground. “Ouch!”
Everything was pitch black around them. He took out the book to illuminate their surroundings. Next to him stood Orchid, all muddy.
“You’re okay?,” he asked. “I’m good.”
Reid sighed in relief. He looked around to see a dark straight pathway. “I guess we
found the loophole. Damn… I thought I was gonna die.” He paused, “can you keep up, Orchid?” She nodded.
They both advanced, while Reid was wiping away some mud off his face and clothes. After a while, the bumpy earthy walls became artificial, and after two hours, they finally reached the door.
The door opened as soon as Reid touched it. The room reminded him of the first dungeon he went in. He looked around, searching for a box like the one Orchid was in, which could contain Baltazar, but he didn’t find any. Reid was disappointed.
“The reach of the lowest floor has been confirmed,” said the familiar voice. “The
transfer of authority has been approved for Unique number 03, Baltazar.”
“Baltazar?!”
The circular platform in the middle of the room started to shine. The light spread out throughout the room before slowly subsiding.
“Please state your name.” “Uh?
The voice he was so used to was different this time – it sounded like a male voice.
Moreover, it didn’t resonate in his mind as usual. “Who are you?,” Reid shouted.
“My name is Baltazar,” The voice came from the circular platform. “This dungeon’s navigator has been rearranged. I will now carry out the procedure for the transfer of authority.”
He wasn’t sure what was happening. “Alright, uhm, my name is Reid Athril.” “Reid Athril. Registration completed.”
“I’ve been looking for you, Baltazar. I need your help.” “Did you choose this dungeon to find me?”
“That’s right,” Reid answered, “I heard about you from Orchid. I was able to capture the dungeon in Alessandro and now I have a flying castle named Avalon, but I can’t move it. Can you help me with that?”
“Avalon…” Baltazar is silent for a moment. “How many treasures do you possess so far?”
“Three: the magic book, Orchid and Avalon.”
“And you found me so quickly, this is wonderful.” It seemed like the voice was complimenting him. He didn’t really understand why. “It could be too late to move it.”
“Too late? What do you mean?”
“Let’s go to Avalon first. If you have the book, you should be able to teleport there immediately. Let’s talk then.”
“Alright..?”
Reid took out the book, then grabbed the circular platform, which was lighter than expected. Its height was around forty centimeters, with a fifteen centimeters diameter.
He touched the map and the three of them teleported to Avalon.

Arthur had managed to clear the first floor and was now advancing on the second.
There was a lake of magma there too. The difference was the type of dragon that lived there – they looked more vicious and powerful. Arthur was thrilled by the sight. “Ah, this makes me feel alive! This dungeon is wonderful!”
Hundreds of dragons, covered in flames, plunged toward Arthur. He pulled out his sword with a smile on his face. The sword greeted the first dragon with a flash of light.
All of a sudden, the whole dungeon plunged into darkness. “What? What happened?” The dragons had disappeared, which startled the adventurer. The magma had also vanished. Arthur used his sword to cast light in the dark dungeon.
“Everything’s gone. Should I keep going?” He decided to walk through the cave.
He spent several hours wandering in the dungeon without meeting a dragon. The magma had turned into rocks.
Arthur reached the last floor without any problem. When he found the door, he opened it to find an empty room.
