The Ultimate Glitch ~One Man Conquers a Dungeon That Humanity Couldn’t Conquer for Hundreds of Years, in Only Two Hours~ - Chapter 18
The Most Dangerous Dungeon
Chapter 18
“Have you ever entered this dungeon before?,” asked Reid.
“Yeah, I’ve been there many times for a week. The pathetic thing is I can’t get past the first floor.”
Reid didn’t think Arthur was pathetic – on the contrary. The fact he managed to get to the first floor and come back out alive was impressive.
“Are you gonna keep trying still?”
“Well yeah, I want to get to that second floor somehow.”
Reid wondered if Arthur was just stupid or a special adventurer. Reid hoped it was the latter.
“Alright,” said Arthur, “I’m gonna go inside now. You guys should be careful, I heard of people getting caught in the swamps and dying.” Waving goodbye, the strange man left.
Reid wondered if it was ok to let Arthur get into such a dangerous dungeon as the Dragon’s Nest. He hoped the man would come back out safely once again.
His eyes traveled to the setting sun. It was going to be dark soon. “Let’s keep moving Orchid, we don’t have much time.”

“Well, that was a weird duo,” said Arthur as he entered the dark tunnel of the dungeon. “Visiting outside the dungeon? There’s nothing to look at, only the swamps-”
Arthur’s steps are cut short as he saw something glow – magma, red and hot. Above the magma lake were flying dragons, avoiding the lava that shot to the ceiling.
Arthur notices movements in the lake. Inside, a large dragon is swimming in the boiling liquid. A spark lit in Arthur’s eyes. “They’re missing out on such a beautiful sight!”
But the fun was short-lived, as a dragon flew toward him. Arthur composed himself and pulled out his sword. With a smile on his face, he slashed the creature. Blood was now running from the dragon’s neck to his abdomen.
“Slow,” Arthur said, “you’re too slow.”
The dragon collapsed on the spot. Other dragons saw what had happened and rushed to Arthur. “C’mon!” Arthur dodged the first dragon before running to get on top of the first fallen dragon. The moment two others flew down on him, he jumped and a light shone from his sword. In a matter of seconds, the heads of the two dragons were rolling on the ground. The dragon Arthur was on started to move, but he stopped it by piercing his head with his sword. One last dragon approached Arthur, but its wings were cut off with the light of his sword.
Reid didn’t know, but he had met one of the strongest adventurers in the world. He had defeated four dragons on his own. Not only that, but Arthur had been the one to stay the longest in that dungeon. This was thanks to his courage and his unstoppable speed. People called him the Man with the Flashing Sword.
“Well,” Arthur said, “why don’t you come out? Don’t make this a boring night!” The creature inside the lake emerged. Arthur grinned. “I’ve been waiting for you, Agni.”
Agni’s size was ten times the one of the four dragons. It had killed so many adventurers in the past. The creature opened his mouth and his tongue rolled like a snake, before it overflowed with lava. The hot liquid was about to fall over Arthur’s head.
He leaped back, the lava falling at his feet. At the same time, other dragons flew his way. Despite the situation, Arthur was ecstatic. “Yes! Entertainment me!”
He managed to jump on a dragon and slice his neck, before jumping on another one, who met the same faith.
After having killed most of the dragons, he finally reached Agni. He jumped from the dragon he was riding and sliced Agni’s right eye. The beast’s roar echoed in the cave. Arthur moved away to a shore of the magma lake.
The hurting dragon kept on spitting lava in anger. Arthur watched it with his sword over his shoulder. He grinned. “Looks like this will be settled by the end of the day.” Arthur got ready to fight again.
Their battle raised the temperature of the cave.

“Uhm, there’s nothing here.” Reid and Orchid had walked around a lot, but without any luck. “The loophole must be around here. But hey, let’s stop for today.”
The moment he spoke, his left foot got stuck in the mud. “Oh, this is bad.” He tried
to pull his leg out, but it would do the opposite effect. “Orchid! Please help me!” Immediately, Orchid grabbed his arms and started to pull.
At first, he was relieved – he knew Orchid’s strength, it won’t be difficult for her to pull him out. But then, he saw Orchid’s legs, which were sinking as well.
