He let out a sigh of relief just as Yuji returned from the bathroom.

“What’s going on?”

Aoi briefly explained the situation to Yuji.

“I see. Well, there’s nothing dangerous in there… Oh, you didn’t touch the computer, did you?”

“N-no, I just took some chocolate!”

Indeed, there was a basket of chocolates and candies on the table.

Yuji chuckled and ruffled Okinaga’s hair before heading back to his room, still laughing.

“Were you hungry? Oh, do you want to have some ice cream we bought yesterday?”

So, he went to the living room with her to have some ice cream.

He had wanted to “retrieve” the refrigerator too, but decided against it, recalling the issues he had with the TV.

The refrigerator was plugged in behind it and squeezed between the wall and a cupboard, making it difficult for a child to plug it back in.

Taking advantage of a brief moment alone, he “retrieved” a cup of ice cream before taking one out to eat.
