The Grand Duchess Escape - Chapter 117.2
The words he spat out in a chilling voice were a death sentence. Only his red eyes gleamed eerily from his otherwise expressionless face. Desperately, Asella managed to force out a single plea as she shook her head.
“Please…”
Then, Calix let out a low chuckle.
“Well then.”
Suddenly, his laughter ceased. He pulled her closer, tilting her head so that his lips were just inches from the nape of her neck as if he was about to press his lips against it. Each time his hot breath brushed against her skin she flinched.
“Think carefully from now on. Consider what you should do.”
Calix slowly trailed his finger, which had been holding her waist, upward. A strange sensation traveled up Asella’s spine. Her temples throbbed, and she felt her skin tingle wherever his touch landed.
Startled by the peculiar feeling, Asella’s body twitched slightly, and he burst into a sinister laughter once again.
The man repeated the action a few more times, his hand now moving towards Asella’s waist. Then, he gently turned her body in the opposite direction. Calix’s body pressed against Asella’s back once again.
“Don’t you know?”
His large hand cupped her cheek, forcing her head to turn to the side. At the end of her tilted gaze, she saw his face.
The moment their eyes met, Asella felt completely captivated by his gaze, unable to move a single muscle. It was a look she would never forget, perhaps for the rest of her life, until the day she closed her eyes for the last time.
“If you don’t know.”
At first glance, the flawless appearance of the man exuded a sensual and decadent atmosphere. If he were a demon, Asella thought, this was probably how he would look.
“I will teach you.”
His red eyes sparkled with an overflowing desire that he couldn’t hide nor deny. His intense gaze flickered persistently as if he could devour her at any moment, like that of a fierce beast.
Asella felt like she had seen that gaze somewhere before.
On that night when the bright moonlight spilled into the room.
‘I will make it a night you will never forget.’
Asella realized what Calix was about to do from now on. She tightly held onto her trembling hand. Sensing her unease, he enveloped her trembling hand with his own, and then firmly interlocked their fingers.
“…!”
However, there was no pain. It was a touch so gentle that it couldn’t be compared to anything she had experienced before. Yet, she couldn’t even attempt to pull her captured wrists away.
“Asella.”
The man’s hand against her cheek felt as if it would be seared by flames. It seemed as if her body was being engulfed by a burning crimson gaze.
Calix’s face slowly drew closer. Asella closed her eyes.
