Reborn as the Paranoid Female’s Rejected Sweetheart [Zerg Tribe] - 49
Chapter 49: Transfer from Qi Yao
Qi Yao didn’t touch for three hours.
He didn’t know when he fell asleep, only that in his sleep, there was a comforting scent that made him completely relax.
The spacecraft landed smoothly on the beach.
The sound of waves crashing filled his ears, mingling with the salty smell of the sea in the familiar scent, and he reluctantly opened his eyes.
“Ugh…”
It hurt.
A clear sense of pain seeped out from between his bones, instantly waking him up.
“Feeling uncomfortable?” Walking on the beach, Yi Er asked him.
The densely packed pain in his bones, like needles, made Qi Yao grit his teeth and muttered, “Not pure.”
“What’s not pure?”
Qi Yao didn’t speak.
The smell of the sea was somewhat strong, strong enough to overshadow the scent of the female zerg, preventing him from fully smelling the scent he released to him. He was very unhappy about it.
Yi Er was now covered in mental threads released unconsciously by Qi Yao while he slept, like a spider’s web entangling him.
Ignoring these unconscious threads, Yi Er tightened his grip on Qi Yao, enduring the numbness in his thighs, and hurried his steps. “Shall we go to the house?”
Qi Yao’s thoughts were still sluggish, the only thing he could think of was that if he went to the house, he could block out the smell of the sea, and then he could smell the pure scent of the female zerg.
“Okay, let’s go quickly,” he said.
Before long, the seaside villa welcomed back its master zerg.
Yi Er directly carried Qi Yao into the bedroom and placed him on the bed, then turned on the villa’s ventilation system. The house, uninhabited for a long time, needed some fresh air.
Qi Yao curled up on the bed, away from the female zerg’s embrace, and the pain immediately became more apparent. He frowned in discomfort. Why did the female zerg leave? Didn’t he want to be close to him? He released his mental power to search for a comforting female zerg, and finally found one in the bathroom.
Coming out of the combat room, Yi Er hadn’t taken a bath yet. As the water washed away the dried sweat on his body, Yi Er sensed a familiar mental power. He looked towards the door and saw strands of mental power persistently sneaking in through the crack. He closed the valve, but his arm bumped into an invisible thread.
After quickly finishing his shower, Yi Er came out wrapped in a bathrobe. He saw Qi Yao curled up on the bed with his back turned. Yi Er turned off the ventilation system, walked over, and once again lifted Qi Yao.
The excruciating pain of shattered tendons and bones made Qi Yao tightly shut his eyes. Feeling the refreshing temperature around him, he struggled to open his eyelids slightly and saw Yi Er. Qi Yao complained, “Where did you go?”
“I took a shower,” Yi Er replied.
Ignoring him and going to take a shower by himself, Qi Yao became even more unhappy. But he had no reason to complain and could only say, “Why does it hurt so much?”
“Lord, it will get better with me here,” Yi Er assured him.
It seemed like it.
Qi Yao couldn’t think, only search. Search for that life source that could alleviate his pain.
The mental threads floated slowly, gradually twisting into a thin rope and entangling Yi Er’s arm.
Qi Yao pressed himself against Yi Er, his nostrils flaring, greedily sniffing the female zerg’s scent.
It wasn’t enough, nowhere near enough.
“Let me smell your pheromones,” he pleaded in an irresistible tone.
The room was filled with Qi Yao’s mental threads and the overpowering scent of the male zerg, but Yi Er released a bit of his own, eliciting a comfortable sigh from Qi Yao.
The female zerg’s pheromones briefly neutralized his pain, even if just a little, making him unable to resist wanting to get closer, to conquer. But Yi Er wouldn’t allow it.
The male zerg’s consciousness was currently chaotic. Giving him too much at once might drive him into madness. So Yi Er could only help him dissipate it in small amounts, gradually.
This was also painful for Yi Er.
He took off his bathrobe, grabbed the back of Qi Yao’s head, and pressed the zerg, who was lost in sniffing his scent, against his shoulder.
Qi Yao’s nose touched the firm muscle.
It seemed freshly washed, strong, taut—that of the female zerg.
The female zerg was his mate, and the mate belonged to him. So, wasn’t the muscle under his nose also his?
But how could he prove it was his?
By biting it to check?
With this thought, Qi Yao opened his mouth.
His teeth grazed the flesh beneath his lips, exerting a slight force, leaving a shallow bite mark on the smooth, firm muscle.
The mental thread brushed over the bite mark, forming a tiny rope that passed under Yi Er’s shoulder.
One bite was not enough.
Starting from the shoulder, Qi Yao gradually left his bite marks on Yi Er’s chest, abdomen, everywhere.
Did this count as conquering the female zerg?
He was confused. It didn’t seem like it, because he only heard the female zerg’s breathing, not her begging for mercy.
“Yi Er…” he called out to the female zerg again. He wanted to do something that would allow him to obtain more of the female zerg’s pheromones so he wouldn’t feel the pain in his bones anymore. But he didn’t know if the female zerg would agree.
Yi Er sat up with him again.
The mental threads entwined around him grew more numerous and gradually gained strength. This indicated that the male zerg could now control his mental power.
“Still hurting?” Yi Er asked.
“Yes,” Qi Yao replied while searching for any place he could leave a mark.
Just leaving a bite mark seemed like scratching an itch for Yi Er. He indulged Qi Yao’s little quirk, letting him do as he pleased, and said, “Deal with the pain yourself, okay?”
Qi Yao became unhappy again. He was in so much pain, so why did he have to deal with it himself? His mate was not being responsible, so he needed to be punished.
He suddenly pushed Yi Er away, his eyelashes trembling, his lips brushing against Yi Er’s nose bridge as he whispered, “I’m your lord, your pheromones are all mine.”
Yi Er said, “Yes, they’re all yours.”
But Qi Yao wasn’t satisfied. How did the overpowering pheromones fill the room earlier? It seemed there was a signal to activate it…
He stared obsessively at the slightly parted lips below his, as if kissing them would bring him more pheromones.
As long as he kissed them, he could conquer this fierce female zerg.
“Give it to me.”
He leaned down and bit the female zerg’s lips.
The sound of the waves masked the sweet sound of the room. The lights flickered on and off for several days and nights. The intertwined pheromones flowed through the seaside villa and were overturned on the soft beach by the waves.
Qi Yao was very satisfied. His female zerg was very obedient and cooperative.
During the short break, Yi Er brushed off the tangled mental threads wrapped around him and brought some nutrient solution to feed the exhausted male zerg.
It was late at night, and the dim bedside lamp cast a soft, hazy light, illuminating only a clear silhouette of the room. It also reflected the semi-transparent wings that occupied most of Qi Yao’s back, appearing exquisite and mysterious.
The tips were black, matching the color of the male zerg’s eyes, and faint golden patterns extended towards the base, becoming increasingly transparent near the spine.
Yi Er tentatively reached out to touch the trembling wings on the male zerg’s back, causing him to shudder involuntarily.
“Don’t, don’t touch…” Qi Yao pleaded with a hint of tears in his voice.
After displaying his might for three or four days, Qi Yao’s dominance as the master was overshadowed by these wings. Yi Er indeed refrained from touching them, lying in the center of the bed and allowing Qi Yao to sit on his abdomen.
Qi Yao said, “I don’t know how to retract them…”
Yi Er swallowed hard, emotions swirling in his deep blue eyes. “Once your molting is complete, you’ll naturally be able to retract them.”
Qi Yao mumbled, “How much longer…?”
“Almost there,” Yi Er reassured.
After saying this, Yi Er sat up and hugged him, taking advantage of his unpreparedness to drop a light kiss on the outstretched wings.
Qi Yao was caught off guard, his body trembling, and his uncontrollable mental threads once again entangled Yi Er.
Yi Er whispered, “Lord, let me handle the rest.”
Qi Yao sluggishly asked, “How?”
“Just like before, just leave it to me, and you rest,” Yi Er replied.
“But…” The wings silently fluttered, too delicate to touch, becoming a hindrance to their progress.
However, Yi Er completely disagreed. He admired the beauty of these easily concealed wings, which only he could see. He praised, “They’re beautiful, much prettier than my bone wings. Let’s just let them be beautiful.”
“Then don’t touch them,” Qi Yao pleaded.
“Okay, I won’t touch them,” Yi Er promised.
The transformation continued, but this time, Yi Er took control.
However, the female zerg was no longer obedient as before.
Promises were meant to deceive zergs. When it came to deep emotions, Yi Er would cherish those wings like precious toys, giving them the most profound affection.
Qi Yao wished he could use his mental power to shut Yi Er’s mouth. But apart from his mouth, Yi Er also had hands. It was impossible to wrap him up like a cocoon.
He had no way to deal with him…
Another night.
Yi Er took him to bathe.
Qi Yao could finally freely control his wings. In order to prevent Yi Er from touching them, he angrily retracted his wings.
“The female’s mouth, a trickster to deceive zergs,” Qi Yao said meaningfully as he sat in the bathtub.
Yi Er helped him wash while shamelessly declaring, “That’s where love leads.”
Qi Yao ignored him, unable to conceal the crime that had already taken place.
He looked at the marks and bite marks on Yi Er’s body, all traces he had left during this prolonged battle, sometimes in a state of clarity, sometimes in a haze of consciousness.
Yi Er didn’t hesitate to show them to him. “The lord didn’t use much force. By tomorrow morning, these marks should all fade away.”
Qi Yao murmured desolately, “I can’t believe my mental power manifestation is just a rope…”
Not a knife, not a sword, not a steel needle.
He had been looking forward to it for a long time, hoping to become stronger after the second molting. However, the result was that cold weapons had nothing to do with him. His mental power manifestation was just a useless, limp thread.
Yi Er didn’t see anything wrong with it. “It’s flexible and strong, can be in various forms, and can bind zergs. It’s pretty good.”
“…” Qi Yao closed his eyes. “Thanks, your comfort didn’t help at all.”
Not only that, after the transformation ended, his mental power only reached S+, while his physical fitness reached S level. But compared to Yi Er, he was still far behind.
He couldn’t match his female zerg in any aspect. Even during the prolonged battle, the female zerg took care of him more. Clearly, he was undergoing molting, but in the end, he didn’t have any of the dominance expected of a master.
After taking a bath, Yi Er changed the sheets and carried Qi Yao back to the room, leaning against his forehead and asking, “Why aren’t you happy?”
“Is it because it hurts?” His tone was self-reproachful.
With the experience of the last molting, this time, because it was Qi Yao, Yi Er didn’t exert too much effort throughout the process but instead gave himself up in a spirit of dedication.
Even so, the delicate male zerg was inevitably hurt. The little baby who had exerted himself all along curled up into a small ball, refusing to come out.
“It’s over…” Qi Yao sighed regretfully.
Yi Er smiled. “Still want more?”
“Not really.”
How could he tell Yi Er that he was disappointed with the results of his molting, that he hadn’t become stronger as expected, and that he was still more or less the same as before?
He lay down and covered his head with the blanket, consoling himself: It’s fine like this. Strength can’t be forced. Between mates, there needs to be complementarity. If one is strong, the other must be weak. It’s just that their family is an exception, where the female zerg is stronger than the male master.
Yi Er said, “Are you hungry? I’ll go to the kitchen and make something to eat.”
These days, they had been living on nutrient solution, and Qi Yao’s stomach hadn’t had anything else. Yi Er didn’t mind; he was worried that the male zerg would become malnourished.
Qi Yao sulked, “You go ahead. I’ll rest for a while.”
Yi Er tucked him in, turned on the room’s ventilation system, poured a glass of water for him, and placed it on the bedside table before going to the kitchen to work.
As Yi Er left, Qi Yao dozed off for a while, then reached for the terminal lying on the side and checked the time. He was surprised that a week had already passed.
The waiting time was boring. He aimlessly poked around on the terminal and ended up in his asset account.
He had bought a few stocks on a whim before, and their performance had been quite good. He wasn’t greedy; he sold them all in the days leading up to his arrival.
Not long after selling them, just recently, the stocks started to fall.
He had acted early and made a small profit. Now, looking at it, the money he made was enough to have a grand wedding.
He found solace in his lonely heart.
He poked around again, decisively swiped away the heap of numbers with several zeros, and transferred them into Yi Er’s account.
In the kitchen, Yi Er, who was busy, heard a sound from the terminal and picked it up. In the empty account, there was suddenly a huge sum of money.
Transfer from Qi Yao.
Yi Er looked at the pile of digits, which had increased tenfold from before, wondering when his master had become so wealthy?
