One Pet Gets Married - Chapter 73
“No…” In the end, Song Xici steeled herself and uttered two words.
“Alright, if you don’t want to, then we won’t. It’s up to you,” Tang You’an said as she slowly released her hand and let out a sigh. She smiled and said, “I’ll go take a shower first.”
She really… just stopped like that…
Song Xici was stunned for a moment, then nodded, “Oh… go ahead.”
It was… she had just gotten her all worked up… and then she stopped just like that. Song Xici suddenly felt incredibly empty inside. After Tang You’an walked into the bathroom, she slapped her own forehead. Why did she have to be so stubborn… when she clearly wanted it so badly…
“If you change your mind, just tell me,” Tang You’an turned back and whispered in her ear, “Remember what I said…”
Song Xici shuddered and glared at her, “What?”
“I said, if you want something, you have to tell me. Otherwise, I won’t know,” Tang You’an said softly.
After that, Tang You’an smiled again and turned away.
“Hmph…” Song Xici watched his back as she popped another small strawberry into her mouth to chew.
Finally, Song Xici shook her head, put down the fruit box, and flopped back onto the bed.
After entering the bathroom, Tang You’an began unbuttoning her shirt. Midway through, she glanced up at herself in the mirror, then tilted her head to look at the sink, before shaking her head and continuing to undress.
Even though she wanted to, if she firmly refused, she wouldn’t do anything she didn’t want.
Meanwhile, Song Xici’s thoughts drifted as she reached for her phone and secretly opened up a classic erotic story she had bookmarked to read.
Suddenly, Song Xici’s mind wandered. Tang You’an probably reads this kind of thing too… So when she does, does her body react the same way? If she did certain things to her, how would she respond? How different would she be compared to her usual self?
As these thoughts swirled in her head, Song Xici hugged her phone and rolled around on the bed. Just then, the bathroom door slid open, so she quickly smoothed her hair and put on a nonchalant expression.
“It’s getting late,” Tang You’an said as she pulled the hair tie out and tossed it aside. “Let’s go to sleep.”
“Oh…” Song Xici nodded and put her phone away.
So Tang You’an sat down on the bed, turned off the light, and lay down.
“Goodnight,” Tang You’an said finally.
“Oh, okay, goodnight…” Song Xici nodded under the covers.
Perhaps due to exhaustion—after all, Tang You’an’s scenes were much heavier than Song Xici’s lately—Tang You’an dozed off soon after lying down.
But Song Xici still couldn’t sleep, so she secretly took out her phone again and reopened the erotic story.
The more she read, the more flushed she felt. So Song Xici turned her head to look at Tang You’an lying beside her. She must be asleep, right?
Song Xici put down her phone and carefully inched closer to her. As she drew near, her scent completely enveloped her.
Her throat felt dry as she swallowed and then quietly reached out to wrap her arm around Tang You’an’s stomach as she lay there.
“Still not asleep?” Tang You’an woke up, though her voice was still groggy.
“I’m about to sleep,” Song Xici mumbled.
“Mmm…” Tang You’an nodded, wrapping her arm around Song Xici’s waist and pulling her head against his chest before drifting off again.
But now with their bodies pressed so close together, her scent surrounding her, Song Xici’s imagination ran wild and she found it even harder to fall asleep.
The next morning when Song Xici woke up, the space beside her was empty again. Even though she knew Tang You’an just got up early, every time this happened, Song Xici still felt a strange sense of anxiety.
She wasn’t sure if her fear of relationships hadn’t fully healed. In truth, it wasn’t entirely Zhang Ke’s fault. Even before meeting Zhang Ke, Song Xici had always been wary of love. So while everyone around her was dating, she stubbornly remained single all the way through college.
Just then, the sound of running water came from the bathroom. Knowing for certain that Tang You’an was in there, Song Xici’s heart finally settled.
Putting on her slippers, she walked to the bathroom door and quietly watched Tang You’an patting toner onto his face in front of the mirror.
“Awake?” Tang You’an asked.
“Mm-hmm.” Song Xici nodded, releasing her grip on the doorframe. She then walked in gracefully, stood behind her, and wrapped her arms around Tang You’an, resting her cheek against his back, closing her eyes and breathing softly.
“What’s wrong, still want to sleep?” Tang You’an squeezed some toothpaste onto Song Xici’s toothbrush.
“No, I just want to hug you…” Song Xici shook her head and tightened her arms. “It’s strange, how can I never get enough of hugging you?”
Hearing this, Tang You’an laughed, “I suppose… it’s because it’s me.”
“It’s not just a supposition, it’s definitely because it’s you,” Song Xici said, the corners of her mouth turning up.
Love truly is a wondrous thing. If you don’t like someone, no matter what they do or what you do with them, it feels exhausting and boring. But if you like them, it’s different—you care deeply about their every move. And even just quietly embracing like this brings a sense of contentment.
“Alright, go brush your teeth,” Tang You’an said, turning her head slightly.
“Okay!” Song Xici nodded, then picked up her toothbrush and water cup, brushing her teeth diligently. After finishing up, she linked arms with Tang You’an and bounced out the door with her.
Sometimes, Tang You’an wondered if Song Xici would still be this energetic and youthful even at over a hundred years old. But he liked it.
By late May, the weather had become much hotter. Although the temperature in Wenhua City wasn’t considered high, it was still in the 20s to 30s Celsius. In this weather, wearing layers of ancient costume to film was unbearable—forget about action scenes, even normal scenes were torture. The staff were all drenched in sweat, feeling like they weighed a thousand pounds by the afternoon, utterly exhausted.
Indoors was still okay, but outdoors was miserable. Fans were practically useless, just blowing hot air around.
Fortunately, filming had entered its final climax. Once this part was done, it would truly be complete. In the final battle, Xiao Yujun ultimately died at Feng Liuyue’s hands, her beauty fading away.
Originally, Xiao Yujun had a greater chance of winning, given her innately powerful abilities. But Xiao Yujun didn’t use her full strength, and thus couldn’t withstand Feng Liuyue’s attack.
Under the frost-covered sky of Guangqing Palace, Feng Liuyue held Xiao Yujun and asked why she had held back.
Xiao Yujun replied, “I don’t know why. I only know that in that moment, I didn’t want anything else. I just wanted the one I love to be safe.”
Feng Liuyue finally understood that Xiao Yujun did have feelings for her, that Xiao Yujun had always been going easy on her. She realized that the one who truly didn’t understand emotions, who was truly cold and unfeeling, wasn’t Xiao Yujun but herself. Even though she had hurt Xiao Yujun time and time again, when it came down to life or death, Xiao Yujun still chose to sacrifice herself to protect her. It was deeply moving.
Originally in Guangqing Palace, the two of them would always gather together—playing music, drinking wine, writing calligraphy and painting. Xiao Yujun would listen to Feng Liuyue talk about mortal affairs, while Feng Liuyue listened to her speak of the love and hatred that immortals scorned. But now, only she remained.
Wisps of cold smoke curled through Guangqing Palace as white gauze fluttered. What was lost was her passion and desire; what remained was endless loneliness.
Watching Tang You’an standing alone in Guangqing Palace in her white robes, Song Xici slowly clasped her hands in front of her, her brow slightly furrowed. Tears inexplicably fell from the corners of her eyes. She didn’t know why she was crying, perhaps she had been moved by the scene before her.
Seeing this, her assistant quickly handed Song Xici a tissue.
Song Xici took the tissue and gently pressed it under her eyelids, wiping away the tears.
“Miss Tang’s acting is so good, she’s improved so much. Her eyes are full of emotion, it really makes you feel sad…” the assistant remarked beside her.
Hearing this, Song Xici nodded, then looked up again, letting out a soft sigh.
Finally, at 4:30 that afternoon, Tang You’an and Song Xici finished filming. If it weren’t for the earlier incident that caused some delays, they probably would have finished even sooner. However, the latter part hadn’t dragged on too much.
After wrapping up, everyone gathered together clapping enthusiastically. Some were so happy they even did backflips, then tugged at their undershirts and wiped their sweat as they moved equipment. Their joy was palpable.
At this moment, Song Xici let out a breath and sighed, “It feels so good.”
“Hmm?” Tang You’an smiled coolly, “Relieved that filming is over?”
“That’s part of it, but also…” Song Xici furrowed her brow, “How should I put it…”
“How should you put what?”
“I just feel like everything really happened,” Song Xici said softly.
Perhaps because she had been playing the role of Xiao Yujun for so long, Song Xici had unconsciously taken on some of Xiao Yujun’s mannerisms. She would occasionally twirl her hair with her fingers, and her gaze had become as fluid as water.
Tang You’an, who had been watching the staff happily bustling about packing up, turned her head slightly to look at Song Xici after hearing her words.
“You mean this wrap-up scene?” Tang You’an asked.
But after thinking for a moment, Song Xici shook her head.
“Then what?”
“The end of the story—it just feels like it really happened. Isn’t that strange?” Song Xici thought for a bit, then lowered her hand and gazed into the distance. “And what’s even stranger is that I can’t play other seductive roles well, but this one came so naturally. It’s an indescribable feeling, like I’ve really experienced it. I don’t know if I’m still in character.”
Although this story was only based on a dream Ouyang Du had one day, Song Xici hadn’t actually experienced it.
Hearing this, Tang You’an quietly studied her profile. Song Xici’s lips were lightly pressed together after she finished speaking, and her eyes held a hint of sorrow, with her eye sockets faintly reddening.
Tang You’an lowered her gaze to Song Xici’s delicate fingers twirling a strand of hair, then slowly moved her gaze back to her face, inexplicably feeling melancholic as well.
“What’s also strange is that I used to be so eager to win awards, desperate to prove my abilities. But now I’m not in such a rush,” Song Xici frowned. “Oh no, have I become so love-struck that I’ve lost all ambition?”
Tang You’an laughed after hearing this: “Not at all. Trophies are just inanimate objects; people’s acclaim is what’s most important. Wanting to win awards is normal—everyone hopes for recognition. But having a calm mindset is even better. Being able to care less about others’ opinions and affirm yourself is enough. In a sense, I think it shows you’ve grown.”
Song Xici smiled after hearing this, then patted her shoulder and said, “Let’s go change clothes and head to the wrap party!”
With that, Song Xici turned gracefully and walked towards the dressing room.
However, after following her for a few steps, Tang You’an stopped and stared fixedly at the red-robed figure ahead.
Inexplicably, her heart felt a bit sour and bitter.
“Silly, why are you just standing there? Come change!” At that moment, Song Xici turned around, hands behind her back, and called out to her with a smile. The wind blew, making her red clothes flutter and her hair dance, framing her bright eyes and beautiful face like a painting.
“Mm.” Tang You’an was stunned for a moment, then smiled and nodded before walking towards her.
That evening, after everything was packed up, the crew rented out a hotel and held a wrap party. Everyone was excited, toasting each other and chatting animatedly. The atmosphere was lively and bustling.
Despite some complications due to the incident with Tang You’an, overall the collaboration during this production had been quite enjoyable. After several rounds of drinks, everyone’s faces were flushed with alcohol.
“Director, let me toast you,” Tang You’an said later, taking Song Xici with her as she stood up with a glass of wine and walked over to him.
“Mm,” Ouyang Du nodded, then also stood up with his glass to clink with theirs. “You’ve worked hard.”
“Speaking of which, Ouyang, you really have an eye for talent. Their performances were absolutely perfect, like the roles were tailor-made for them,” Han Yan laughed at this point.
“Of course, who do you think I am?” Ouyang Du didn’t bother with modesty.
“You’re the electric light, you’re the morning star, you’re the only one,” Han Yan glanced at him.
So Ouyang Du kicked him under the table.
Tang You’an smiled at the two who always seemed to enjoy needling each other, then raised her glass again: “This toast is to everyone. If there’s a chance in the future, I hope we can work together again.”
Hearing this, everyone stood up with their drinks and nodded, “We will, we will!”
After that, people launched into conversations on various other topics.
Tang You’an looked around at everyone, occasionally joining in the laughter. In the blink of an eye, she had been here for half a year already. Living and interacting with so many people was much more interesting than being alone.
Once the heart becomes attached to the mortal world, it’s very difficult to withdraw again.
The meal lasted about an hour and a half before everyone dispersed. Tang You’an had drunk a bit too much, as had Song Xici. They were both slightly drunk, especially Song Xici, who was unsteady on her feet and seemed dazed.
After getting into the car, Song Xici’s body felt weak and hot. Since there was no one else around anyway, she relaxed and leaned against Tang You’an.
“If you can’t hold your alcohol well, don’t drink so much in the future,” Tang You’an said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and lowering her head slightly.
“Hehe… are you worried about me?” Song Xici clung to her arm, resting her head on her shoulder.
“Yes, I am,” Tang You’an replied.
“You’an…” Song Xici closed her eyes and called her name.
“Hmm?”
“Why did I fall for you the moment I first saw you? It’s so strange…” Song Xici mumbled. “I guess love at first sight really does exist.”
Hearing this, Tang You’an raised her hand to caress Song Xici’s cheek.
“Although I never admitted it before… that’s how it was… That day, when I opened the door and saw you for the first time, I fell for you,” Song Xici continued to mumble.
Tang You’an gently kissed her brow, then smiled. Soon after, Song Xici fell asleep, so Tang You’an placed her hand over Song Xici’s and closed her own eyes.
She felt the same way. From the moment she saw Song Xici, she had a strange sense of familiarity. This familiarity made her want to get closer. She just hadn’t expected that she would misjudge the situation and end up scaring Song Xici.
Thinking of this, Tang You’an couldn’t help but smile.
As the car swayed, Tang You’an hazily fell into a dream.
Fire, vast expanses of fire, consumed the entire dreamscape, fierce and boundless.
As the flames receded, a burned-out village appeared before her eyes. Every tree branch and roof tile was charred black. Corpses littered the ground.
Where was this? This was her birthplace. In this village, she once lived happily with her parents. Though not wealthy and somewhat poor, their days were joyful and carefree. Until one day, rumors spread of a treasure in the village, attracting a group of treasure hunters.
In the end, conflict broke out between the two sides. The treasure hunters slaughtered the entire village and set it ablaze.
In the dream, the fire gradually died down. But Tang You’an was wounded, not knowing where to go or what to do.
Just then, someone suddenly grabbed her arm.
When she turned her head, she saw a girl with a dirt-covered face standing diagonally behind her. She looked about the same age as Tang You’an, or perhaps slightly older. On the heel of her hand was a vivid crane tattoo.
“Little Tang girl? Come with me! I’ll protect you!” Before Tang You’an could speak, the girl pulled her over the corpses and ran out.
The dream ended there. At that moment, the car jolted, causing Tang You’an’s heart to skip a beat as she awoke. She tightly gripped Song Xici’s hand, then turned her head to carefully examine her sleeping face.
Song Xici’s face was soft in sleep, with a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She looked completely at peace.
Tang You’an gazed at her and let out a small sigh. How strange to suddenly connect the two of them like that.
“Are you okay?” After arriving at the hotel and getting out of the car, Tang You’an quickly steadied Song Xici’s arm when she saw her sway.
Song Xici placed one hand in Tang You’an’s and rubbed her temple with the other, shaking her head without speaking.
“Really, from now on, no matter how much others try to persuade you, don’t drink so much. You’ll only suffer for it,” Tang You’an said as she guided her to the elevator and pressed the button to wait for the doors to open.
“Oh…” Song Xici looked at the floor indicator lights above the elevator. The red glow seemed to blur and overlap in her vision, but she still managed to say, “But I’m really not drunk… Look, I can still talk. I… I know what I’m saying. It’s just… I’m a bit unsteady…”
Tang You’an shook her head: “Being unsteady is the problem. If a pervert saw you like this, you wouldn’t even be able to run away.”
“But I’m not afraid with you by my side…” Song Xici muttered.
Tang You’an looked at her, completely at a loss for what to do with her, and could only smile.
After reaching their hotel room door, Tang You’an swiped it open, inserted the key card, and led Song Xici inside.
“Xici, lie down for a bit first. I’ll get some makeup remover wipes,” Tang You’an said, brushing Song Xici’s hair back after laying her on the bed.
“Okay…” Song Xici’s body shifted slightly as she murmured a response.
Tang You’an smiled, then turned to walk to the side table. She opened her bag, took out some makeup remover wipes, and returned to sit beside Song Xici.
After carefully removing Song Xici’s makeup, Tang You’an tossed the wipes into the trash bin. When she turned back, she saw Song Xici’s body move slightly on the bed as she tugged at her collar.
“What’s wrong? Feeling uncomfortable?” Tang You’an asked.
Song Xici’s brow furrowed slightly as she parted her lips.
“Hmm?” Tang You’an leaned down, bringing her ear close to Song Xici’s lips.
“A bit hot…” Song Xici finally managed to say.
“Hot?” Tang You’an looked at her snow-white neck and crimson lips.
“Mm.” Song Xici nodded rapidly like a little chick pecking at grain.
“A shower will help. Want me to take you?” Tang You’an caressed her cheek, speaking softly.
“Okay…” Song Xici nodded again.
Tang You’an smiled, then took the pajamas into the bathroom. She pulled Song Xici’s arm over her shoulder and helped her off the bed, guiding her to stand under the shower in the bathroom.
Since Song Xici was unsteady on her feet, she had to lean against the wall to stand once inside, afraid of slipping.
“Do you… want me to leave?” Tang You’an asked after a moment’s hesitation. After all, Song Xici was quite shy.
Song Xici looked at her and nodded dazedly.
“Alright, be careful of the floor then. Don’t slip,” Tang You’an pointed to the door. “Call me if you need anything.”
“Okay…” Song Xici nodded, her fingers curling against the wall.
Tang You’an then turned to leave.
“Wait…” Song Xici suddenly called out.
“Hmm?” Tang You’an turned back, seeing Song Xici leaning weakly against the wall, her face flushed, looking somewhat pitiful.
“I… my coordination isn’t great. It’s hard to wash…” Song Xici glanced at the wall, then her gaze drifted back to Tang You’an.
“Then, do you want me to help you?” Tang You’an released the doorknob and turned back.
Song Xici met her gaze and nodded: “I’m afraid I’ll slip… it would hurt…”
Tang You’an wasn’t sure if Song Xici was doing this on purpose or if it was the alcohol, but she found Song Xici’s hazy, languorous state particularly alluring.
“Alright, then…” Tang You’an moved behind Song Xici, drawing close. She placed her hands on Song Xici’s shoulders and turned her head to whisper in her ear, “Shall we take off your clothes?”
Song Xici didn’t know if it was the alcohol or something else, but her body felt very hot. And after Tang You’an’s close-range question, she felt even hotter.
“Okay…” Song Xici turned her face slightly and nodded, raising her hand to undo the buttons on her front.
As her fingertips lightly brushed aside the fabric, the thin material slipped down, revealing rounded, delicate shoulders. Tang You’an grasped Song Xici’s arms, gazing at her fair, flawless back. She felt her palms growing warm.
After all the clothes were removed and tossed aside, Tang You’an turned on the shower. She let the cool water run for a while, then switched to warm water and let it flow over Song Xici’s body.
As soon as the water touched her skin, Song Xici’s body couldn’t help but tremble.
Tang You’an looked at her neck, continuing to rinse her. After a while, Tang You’an turned off the shower, then squeezed out some body wash, lathered it up, and began applying it to Song Xici’s back.
As Tang You’an gently scrubbed her back, the exquisite sensation spread along every nerve. Song Xici felt her scalp tingling.
“The front needs washing too…” Tang You’an said, her hands moving around Song Xici’s sides to the front, then… covering the soft mounds there.
Finally, Song Xici couldn’t help but lean forward slightly, but she still bit her lower lip.
“Xici, don’t fall,” Tang You’an wrapped one arm around her waist, slowly pulling her back.
Song Xici looked at the arm encircling her abdomen and nodded.
Although Tang You’an was clothed, she was now soaked in many places, her clothes becoming transparent in patches.
“Mmm…” Song Xici nodded, but the restlessness in her body became increasingly obvious. She didn’t know why her body had become so sensitive.
“Xici, you’re so beautiful,” Tang You’an said with a smile.
“What’s so beautiful…” Song Xici felt breathless in her embrace.
“You’re beautiful. Your face is beautiful, your body is beautiful.” Tang You’an kissed her earlobe.
“I…” The sensation on her ear made Song Xici’s whole body shiver, her heart rate quickening.
Tang You’an’s soapy fingertips gently kneaded Song Xici’s skin, then slowly trailed downward: “Down here… needs washing too, doesn’t it?”
“I…” Song Xici closed her eyes, feeling as if the desire within her was about to tear her apart.
Before Song Xici could speak, Tang You’an’s hand moved down, covering the warm, moist area. As soon as her fingers caressed it, they were enveloped in slick wetness.
Song Xici couldn’t help but open her mouth, then quickly bit down on her teeth. She placed her hand over Tang You’an’s: “You’an, I…”
“Don’t you want to wash it?” Tang You’an gently bit Song Xici’s delicate neck. “Hmm?”
“Yes, I do…” Song Xici leaned back against her, her thighs involuntarily pressing together more tightly.
So Tang You’an’s hand began to move again, slowly and gently.
Song Xici felt she could barely stand, her body was almost uncontrollably overwhelmed: “No, don’t do that…”
“Don’t do what?” Tang You’an’s index finger pressed against a certain spot, her voice sultry.
“This is making it… even worse…” Song Xici said, her face red.
“You mean… those things inside your body?” Tang You’an asked.
“Yes…” Although it was embarrassing, Song Xici nodded slightly.
“Then let me rinse you off.” Tang You’an turned on the shower again, gradually washing away the soap from Song Xici’s body.
But midway through, Tang You’an accidentally brushed against her, causing her body to shudder again.
“Why do you keep trembling? Is the water too cold?” Tang You’an asked in her ear.
“No…” Song Xici turned her face to look at her, shaking her head.
Tang You’an still held the showerhead, rinsing Song Xici’s body. As water droplets rolled down her delicate skin, Tang You’an swallowed hard, then reached out to embrace the now naked Song Xici: “Then why?”
“Because…” Song Xici breathed with parted lips, “It tickles…”
“Tickles?” Tang You’an placed a kiss on her shoulder.
“Yes…” Song Xici turned her head, reaching up with one hand to rest on Tang You’an’s chin, clearly struggling.
“Do you want to do something?” Tang You’an asked, taking her hand and kissing her fingers.
Song Xici was still biting her lower lip. Then, she slowly turned around, wrapping her arms around Tang You’an’s neck, her heart pounding fiercely. There were many droplets on her forehead, but it wasn’t clear if they were sweat or water.
The bathroom was filled with swirling mist. Song Xici’s hair was completely wet, clinging to her snow-white back and chest in lazy tendrils. Combined with her delicate figure and eyes that seemed to hook one’s soul, she looked incredibly alluring.
“Hmm?” Tang You’an’s hands rested on her waist, her gaze locked on Song Xici’s lips.
Song Xici looked up at her without speaking. She simply raised one hand to gently caress Tang You’an’s lips. Then she hooked her arms around Tang You’an’s neck again and eagerly kissed those beautiful lips.
Closing her eyes, Song Xici’s chest heaved as she sucked on Tang You’an’s lips. Then she used her tongue to pry open Tang You’an’s teeth, exploring every part of her mouth without restraint. Afterward, Song Xici trailed kisses along Tang You’an’s jawline up to her neck, while her hand slowly slipped under Tang You’an’s clothes, lightly stroking her soft abdomen.
At that intimate touch, Tang You’an’s skin broke out in goosebumps.
“Xici…” Tang You’an looked at her, her eyes inadvertently misting over.
Then Song Xici’s hands moved from Tang You’an’s neck to her front. She looked up at her while unbuttoning Tang You’an’s clothes.
“Let me see you too…” Song Xici said, lifting Tang You’an’s chin and placing a kiss on her lips after removing half of her clothing.
Then Song Xici kissed her neck, trailing down to her collarbone. Tang You’an couldn’t help but tilt her head back and close her eyes. The bathroom was very warm, but their body temperatures were even higher, as if they might melt into each other.
“You talk about me, but aren’t you also…” Slowly, Song Xici pressed her hand against Tang You’an’s abdomen, slipping it into her pants.
In that instant, Tang You’an’s arm around Song Xici tightened slightly. She rested her head on Song Xici’s shoulder somewhat awkwardly, her voice hoarse: “…Is that so?”
“What do you think?” Song Xici withdrew her hand, holding it up in front of Tang You’an.
Tang You’an glanced at it, sweat beading on her forehead. Her gaze then returned to Song Xici’s face as she kissed her lips. Her palm once again pressed against Song Xici’s body, causing Song Xici to go weak in the knees.
A moment later, Song Xici was half-hanging onto her, feeling as if all the strength had been drained from her body. The waves of pleasure emanating from deep within made her unable to hold back her whimpers.
At this point, Tang You’an lowered her head again to kiss Song Xici’s soft lips, plundering the nectar in her mouth while stirring the spring waters below. After a good while, Tang You’an finally pulled away from her lips.
“You’an…” Song Xici gripped Tang You’an’s shoulders tightly, breathing rapidly.
“What is it?” Tang You’an kissed the corner of her mouth. “Do you want me to go inside?”
Song Xici bit her finger and nodded: “Please… You’an, I… I want…”
