No Alphas Allowed - C115
#115
As his mind woke first, Suho recalled his past few days. Suho, who had been staying at Taeyun’s house since returning from the beach, had undergone more changes than just that. His sleep had increased significantly due to pregnancy. He seemed to have taken a long nap yesterday too, but he had slept deeply through the night without waking once.
As Suho slowly opened his eyes and stirred, Taeyun put down the book he was reading and approached.
“Did you sleep well?”
“What time is it?”
Suho asked for the time, but realizing his voice was cracking, he belatedly cleared his throat. However, perhaps because he had slept for so long, his dry throat didn’t recover easily. Noticing this, Taeyun handed him the water glass placed nearby.
“It’s past 12 o’clock.”
“I slept a long time.”
“I told you your sleep would increase.”
Taeyun answered calmly, having heard various things recently when meeting with a primary care physician specifically assigned to Suho. Even without that, it was enough that Suho had slept deeply and woken up.
After emptying the water glass Taeyun gave him and feeling his throat moisten, Suho looked at the spot where Taeyun had been sitting until just now. These days, Taeyun was spending quite a lot of time using the table and chair placed in the bedroom.
“Were you reading?”
“Yes.”
As if to show what book it was, Taeyun brought it over himself. Seeing the title “Everything About Pregnancy and Childbirth”, Suho raised his eyes in bewilderment.
“Why are you reading that?”
“There’s only very fragmentary information on the internet, so I bought one yesterday.”
Though he said he bought it yesterday, he had read more than half of it, apparently reading in his spare time.
“Father called earlier. He asked you to call when you wake up.”
Taeyun pointed with his eyes to Suho’s phone on the bedside table. Hyun Yusoo, who had escaped from Jeong Sehun, was currently staying at Suho’s house. Rejecting Taeyun’s offer to provide a new home, Hyun Yusoo had first moved into Suho’s house and was enjoying time alone for the past few days.
Suho nodded as he picked up his phone and checked the call log.
“Shall we have a meal with your father?”
Knowing that Suho was concerned about Hyun Yusoo, Taeyun gently pressed down Suho’s bed hair and whispered affectionately. Appreciating Taeyun’s consideration, Suho nodded slightly. The second biggest change after increased sleep was meeting his father every day.
“What do you want to eat? Choose whatever you want, Senior, and I’ll buy it.”
“Hmm… nothing particular comes to mind.”
“Then how about that premium Korean lunchbox we had before?”
“Sounds good.”
Taeyun, who had suggested a lunchbox that Suho ate quite well, decided to ask his father if that was okay and eat that if so. After deciding on the menu, Taeyun moved all the way to the inner side of the bed.
Not content with just that, Taeyun embraced Suho’s body and deeply inhaled his pheromones mixed with his scent.
“Ah, it’s nice. Suho’s smell.”
Having just woken up, Suho was bothered by Taeyun hugging him tightly, but soon gave up and leaned against him.
He had become accustomed to Taeyun frequently coming to his side and smelling him like this.
“Do you know what I think when I see Senior waking up in my bed every day?”
“…Temporary roommate?”
“Similar, but sweeter than that.”
“Are you saying that about yourself?”
Suho tried to prepare in advance, not knowing what cheesy words Taeyun would utter, but Taeyun’s answer was faster.
“My house, my bed has gained color. Maybe because it’s imbued with Senior’s pheromones, it’s turned a very pretty pink color.”
“Wow… you’re even more shameless than I imagined.”
Looking at him with eyes wondering how he could say such things so casually, Suho soon ended up showing that he was pleased. Whether cheesy or not, Taeyun’s reaction of accepting his existence as rosy always felt good.
This was an unfamiliar feeling he had never experienced from anyone else. Until now, he had lived cautiously as if imposing on others, and spent time lonely in his own space.
“Since it’s come to this, how about living together?”
Originally, Taeyun had suggested staying together for a few days to observe Suho’s condition. But now, Taeyun was proposing living together, going beyond just a few days.
Suho recalled the days he had spent at Taeyun’s house. It was truly a comfortable and stable time. Taeyun’s pheromones calmed the morning sickness that had been overwhelming due to pregnancy, and as he ate meals that suited his taste every time, his physical condition gradually improved. His heart was naturally fulfilled beyond words.
So Suho liked being with Taeyun too. He knew he was finding stability because of Taeyun’s presence, and even without that, he just liked Taeyun because it was Taeyun.
But…
“I want to go home.”
Suho shook his head slightly. It wasn’t that he disliked Taeyun. He was just concerned about his father staying at his house now.
“Because of your father?”
“I want to try living with my father again.”
Not like before when they acted like strangers to each other, but he wanted to try living like a real family. As if looking into Suho’s heart, Taeyun, who had been silent, soon tightly embraced his body.
He thoroughly imbued him with pheromones so that he wouldn’t feel lacking even if he separated from him anytime.

Suho entered the passcode directly to open the door when there was no response to the doorbell.
“Father?”
When his father, who usually greeted him as if he had been waiting, didn’t come out, Suho’s heart beat rapidly as he started looking for traces of him. While looking around from the kitchen to the living room and bathroom, Taeyun, who had gone into the bedroom and come out, sent Suho a look saying he had found him.
“He’s sleeping.”
Taeyun quickly lowered his voice and whispered. Only then did Suho feel somewhat relieved as he spotted the bulging blanket through the slightly open bedroom door. Feeling Suho calm down, Taeyun patted his shoulder.
“Wait just a moment. I’ll go buy the lunchboxes.”
When Taeyun left, the house became quiet. Suho looked around the living room for a moment before entering the room where his father was. He slowly moved, listening to his father’s breathing as he slept in Suho’s bed.
Taeyun, who had said to just trust him when Suho asked to bring his father, really made Suho’s wish come true not long after. Surprised that he had brought his father sooner than expected, Taeyun told Suho that his father wouldn’t go anywhere.
Just as Taeyun said, his father didn’t leave, and though he didn’t know how it happened, he said he had become the CEO of Michon. Though he said he would soon attach a professional manager, it was unbelievable that he had taken over his alpha father’s business.
As days passed, things progressed one by one as Taeyun said, and after some time, Suho came to accept that his father had truly come to his side.
Suho pulled a chair next to his father and rested his chin on his knees. As he looked at his father, he recalled the moment they had revealed their true feelings to each other at the beach.
“Father, I don’t think I was as surprised then as I thought I would be.”
A long time ago, when his life was so hard that he indulged in impossible fantasies, he had once imagined that his omega father actually liked him but was hiding it. Though he thought it would never happen, he believed that if such a moment came, he would be overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions. He thought tears would blur his vision and his throat would choke up, unable to speak.
He had thought he would naturally react that way since it was the biggest turning point in his life. But when he actually met his father and the dream he had only dreamed alone became reality, Suho accepted it more calmly than expected. Why was that?
He had looked at his omega father and not wanted to become an omega, thinking imprinting was terrible. So he had wanted to prevent his presentation even if it meant tying up all his time, but why didn’t tears come when he was surprised by his father’s true feelings?
His omega father said he experienced pain like being cut with a knife every moment he cut ties with the alpha father he had hated all his life, so why didn’t Suho feel greatly heightened emotions in that moment?
Then Suho slowly closed his eyes, smelling the pheromones permeating him.
‘So this was why.’
The reason he could calmly get through the unhappiness of his childhood. The subtle pheromones now so naturally permeating him. In just a few short months, Taeyun had gradually diluted Suho’s condensed emotions.
It was because of Taeyun that he didn’t feel resentment wondering why his omega father hadn’t told him once when he learned his true feelings. Without Suho realizing, he had gently soothed his heart and protected him from being shocked no matter what situation arose. The belief that Taeyun was firmly supporting Suho now, regardless of any past, had made his heart strong.
He had thought Taeyun was just staying by his side and caring for what was visible, but that wasn’t it. Even now without Taeyun, Suho’s heart was so full that the shadows of his unhappy past had completely disappeared. That’s probably why he just felt glad that his father didn’t dislike him.
“I think I’ve become free from being bound by the past.”
Suho mumbled as if making excuses for why he hadn’t liked it much back then. His father was asleep now and couldn’t hear anyway.
Suho looked at his sleeping father again. The various thoughts filling his mind went round and round, ultimately coming back to Taeyun. Thinking of Taeyun made his heart swell and feel good, and made him smile even without realizing it…
“This is crazy.”
Realizing the depth of his emotions, Suho hung his head low. His feelings for Taeyun were no longer just liking him. He had become completely dyed by him. Though no one was looking at his face, Suho couldn’t raise his head, his face flushed red to the ears.
