I've Been Possessed, But What If I Get Pregnant First? - Side Story 7
Side Story 7
“The main ceremony will begin soon. Groom, please get ready~”
“Ah, yes…!”
“We’ll take good care of the young master. Do your best at the wedding and see you later.”
“Thank you!”
“Papa, bye! Fighting~”
I snapped to attention at the announcement that the ceremony would start soon. I was about to bite my lip out of habit, but realizing I shouldn’t let it bleed, I clenched my fist instead.
“Baby!”
“Grandmother…”
“I wasn’t going to come because I might cry on this happy day, but I thought I should take a picture with my grandson.”
I was actually about to contact grandmother, who wasn’t visible. Grandmother must have been busy since morning preparing for her only grandson’s wedding. Grandmother, beautifully made up and dressed in clothes sent by my hyung, was beyond words like “pretty.”
“Is Kwon son-in-law treating you well? Our Yuwon has no regrets?”
“Yes, with my hyung, I think we can live well in the future too. I’m happy, grandmother.”
“That’s good. You’re living well now, but live even happier in the future.”
“Yes, I will. I’ll live even happier.”
I said, holding grandmother’s hand tightly. Grandmother, who had been quietly looking at my face as I confidently spoke about the future, nodded as if she really didn’t need to worry anymore. After taking pictures with grandmother and hurriedly taking pictures with late-arriving guests, the ceremony time approached.
When I heard a knock on the door and turned my head, my hyung opened the door and came in. Dressed neatly as if coming to pick me up, he looked handsome, befitting the protagonist of today’s wedding.
“Yuwon.”
“Hyung…”
“Shall we go now?”
I nodded, taking his outstretched hand. As always, my hyung was the only person I could trust from now on. I held his hand tightly and headed to the ceremony hall together.
“The handsome grooms, march!”
Along with Uncle Junseok’s voice as the MC, we heard the enthusiastic cheers of the guests. With my heart feeling like it would burst, I held my hyung’s hand tightly. He squeezed my hand firmly as if to say not to worry.
As we slowly walked down the virgin road, all the events that had happened so far passed through my mind. My hyung who appeared like a savior in my lonely and difficult life, the hard times, and the moment when I met him again and realized love. Remembering these memories made my heart swell. I bit the inside of my cheek to hold back tears. As if knowing my choked-up feelings, my hyung whispered softly.
“I love you. Let’s live happily, Yuwon.”
His sincere words made me burst into laughter. The tears that had been welling up in my eyes finally flowed down. Happiness washed over me at the thought of being able to spend a lifetime with my hyung.
“Congratulations on your marriage!”
“May you two live happily!”
I took in the faces of the guests cheering and blessing us. From the boxing gym family to the Uneondong family, Teacher Yoon Seolah, father and grandmother, and Yubum, who was everything to my hyung and me.
Although there weren’t many guests as we only invited family and close acquaintances, my heart felt full. Smiling brightly towards the people cheering for our happiness, I walked down the virgin road happily, holding my hyung’s hand tightly.
Amidst everyone’s blessings, our wedding ceremony ended successfully. Finally, as my hyung and I stood side by side for the wedding photos, Yubum shouted.
“Yubumi want to take picture too!”
My hyung and I simultaneously curled up the corners of our mouths, looking at Yubum reaching out to us. Finally, Yubum, who took his place between my hyung and me, smiled, showing his small teeth with a satisfied face.
“Then I’ll take the picture. One, two, three-“
With a click sound, the flash went off. Our happy moment was captured forever in the photograph.

Since it didn’t seem right to leave Yubum behind and go overseas, my hyung and I decided on a domestic honeymoon destination. Even without going abroad, there were many beautiful places in Korea. While looking for where to go, we decided to revisit the Busan trip that had been cancelled due to Yubum’s birth.
“Will Yubum be okay…? Maybe we should have brought him…”
“Father will take good care of him. The kids are there too.”
“Still, I think this is the first time we’ve been apart for so long.”
Even though it was only a 2-night, 3-day honeymoon, leaving Yubum behind kept weighing on my mind. The last time we came here, Yubum was in my belly, but now coming here with just my hyung made me feel nostalgic and strange.
“If Yubum misses us too much, we can always go back. Let’s go for now. He played well with father and grandmother last time too, so don’t worry too much.”
My hyung comforted me as I kept worrying about Yubum and picked up the suitcase. The suitcase we had packed a week before the wedding was quite heavy even though it was only for a 2-night, 3-day trip. Since Yubum had never been apart from us like this, I was the one feeling anxious. Even though Yubum wasn’t here, I kept looking back with a worried heart as we boarded the plane.
When we actually arrived in Busan, the weather was so nice and the sea was so beautiful that I felt it would have been a shame if we hadn’t come. In the sunny weather, holding my hyung’s hand as we left the terminal, employees from the Busan branch were waiting for us.
“Vice President, you’ve arrived. Nice to meet you, ma’am.”
“Ah… Hello.”
I flinched at the word “ma’am” that I hadn’t heard in a long time. It was still an unfamiliar title. He spoke to the nervous employee.
“Thank you for coming all the way here. I’ll drive from here, so you can go back now.”
The employee’s face turned to surprise as if he had thought he would be driving, but my hyung took the car keys from him and led me away. As we left the city in an open-top car, the refreshing sea spread out before our eyes. I slightly extended my hand, feeling the wind tickling between my fingers as it passed through.
“Hehe, it is nice.”
“Don’t stick your head out, it’s dangerous.”
My hyung kept watching over me as if he still thought of me as a child. That sight made me smile a little, and instead of stretching my arm out the window, I held his hand. With a ticklish feeling in my heart, we drove for a while and arrived at a restaurant near the hotel.
It was a place my hyung had found because I said we should eat pork soup when in Busan. It wasn’t an extremely fancy place, but I preferred this kind of place. When was the last time we had a normal date? This felt different too.
We ordered two bowls of pork soup and boiled pork slices, and I was biting into the mixed kimchi that came as a side dish when:
“Eat properly, damn it. You’re not melting it with your saliva.”
“S-sorry, captain…”
My gaze turned slightly towards the men sitting at the next table as I heard their conversation. The man with a large build and a long scar on one arm was a dominant alpha, rare even in Seoul. And the man sitting across from him looked a bit… very small. He seemed young too.
“Hah…”
“S-sorry-“
“Say sorry one more time, I dare you.”
The trembling figure at the man’s sharp voice was pitiful. The small man was so covered in the alpha’s pheromones that it was hard to tell what his type was. However, looking at the marks embroidered on the man’s neck, it was clear that the two were in that kind of relationship.
I turned my gaze away from them and looked at my hyung sitting across from me, and I sighed inwardly too. Lately, my hyung had been covering my body with his pheromones. It had become a daily occurrence since he learned that I could now sense other people’s pheromones. I was worried about how to calm this dominant alpha’s instinctive possessiveness, as I would have to attend academy and school in the future.
“Enjoy your meal.”
“Thank you, I will.”
As they say Korean fast food is rice soup, the pork soup was quickly placed in front of my hyung and me. Although it was a dish I’d never seen before, it smelled delicious and nutty. Following my hyung, I added chopped green onions and a little seasoning sauce to the soup and mixed it with rice. When I blew on the steaming soup and put a spoonful in my mouth, I could understand why they say you should eat pork soup when you come to Busan.
However, my hyung had lived like a young master all his life. I had lived like this for over 20 years, so the pork soup tasted delicious to me, but I was worried if it would suit my hyung’s taste. But contrary to my worry, my hyung was eating well. Come to think of it, he ate well no matter what he ate. Feeling good about his enjoyment of the food, I stared at him absent-mindedly, and he looked up, noticing my gaze.
“It’s delicious.”
“Yes, it’s really delicious.”
When I agreed, my hyung smiled brightly. Seeing my hyung’s smiling face, which had become more frequent lately, was such a happy thing. When I was with him, even ordinary daily life became extraordinary. In the past, even this ordinary daily life was sometimes overwhelming. Thinking about those times made me so happy with this moment and excited for our future.
“It’s even better eating with you.”
I smiled broadly as I put another spoonful of the soup, which tasted even better eating with him, into my mouth. After filling our stomachs to bursting with soup and boiled pork, we moved to the hotel. Despite the sun not having set yet, I was exhausted to the point of fainting after leaving home early in the morning, getting hair and makeup done at the shop, going to the wedding, and moving around busily here and there. We had no choice but to postpone sightseeing until tomorrow, and as we entered the hotel, we saw the man from the restaurant earlier.
