I've Been Possessed, But What If I Get Pregnant First? - C19
Taebeom put down his teacup and asked me,
“I heard you don’t go out much.”
That’s… I couldn’t answer, ‘It’s because I’m afraid I’ll offend you if I wander around carelessly.’ As if he defined the meaning of my silence on his own, Taebeom let out a deep sigh.
“I did want to confine you, but seeing you only stay in your room, I don’t feel so great about it.”
“……”
I asked you not to say such things so easily. Just when I let my guard down at his caring appearance, seeing him talk like that from time to time made me come to my senses.
“I thought you really hated the cold, but seeing you today, seems that’s not the case either.”
Taebeom seemed to be glaring at the chick drawn on my hoodie. When I covered the front, arranging my clothes for no reason, he advised,
“Even if it’s annoying, don’t just stay in your room. It’s relatively warm here, so if you’re not going out because it’s cold outside, stay here.”
Is he possibly worried about me…?
While I was thinking that, I felt his body temperature on my fingertips. Taebeom placed something in my hand.
It was a key.
The appearance without even a single keychain made it obvious to anyone that it was his possession. At his nod, I hesitated for a moment then received the key.
“Are you giving this to me?”
“If you want.”
I stared blankly at the key placed on my palm, then slowly curled my fingertips inward to grasp it. I seemed to know the meaning of this key, but for some reason, I wanted to be a little greedy right now.
Just… only until the original owner comes, for a brief moment. I decided to only be that much greedy.
Looking out the window, green buds had already sprouted on the ends of the branches. Spring had approached me in the blink of an eye like that. I closed my eyes, thinking of the approaching April not far away.

After Taebeom gave me the key to the greenhouse, I visited the glass greenhouse several times a day. I took naps here and spent most of my time studying. Perhaps because it was the only place not mentioned in the original work, I felt at ease when I came here.
I even packed lunch boxes and ate lunch here. I hadn’t been aware of it until now, but seeing how my mind felt at ease coming here, it seemed I quite liked this greenhouse.
Today, I decided to solve previous exam questions to prepare for the college entrance exam that I had started some time ago. Fortunately, the curriculum wasn’t very different from the world I was originally in.
Studying while smelling the fragrant scent of flowers, I realized there were quite a few problems I didn’t know as I had been away from studying for a long time. Frowning and gnawing on the end of my pencil at the problems that weren’t solving as well as I thought, I skipped the ones I didn’t know and finished chapter 1, and quite a bit of time had already passed.
Even after solving all the problems, a corner of my heart felt unsatisfied. With an uneasy heart, I took out the answer sheet to grade them, and the score was a mess.
“…This is upsetting.”
At this rate, not only Korea University but getting into a mid- to high-ranking university would be difficult. Sighing, I opened the solution sheet and organized the question types and reasons I got them wrong in my notebook. Since there were many problems I got wrong, there was a lot to organize, so the notebook was filled with densely written letters.
After organizing the wrong answer notes and listening to online lectures, I finally finished talking to Grandma, and the surroundings had already gotten dark. As the sky had become pitch-black, I started preparing to return to the mansion. When I organized the workbooks and opened my bag, the lunch box placed at the very bottom caught my eye.
“I didn’t even eat lunch…”
I wasn’t hungry even though I hadn’t eaten lunch. Just a few days ago, I had made a fuss about eating pig’s feet as a late-night snack, so I laughed at the situation that had changed in an instant. I put the cold lunch box back in my bag and apologized to the head chef in my mind.
“Ugh… it’s cold, huh? Taebeom!”
When I put on my backpack and came out, Taebeom, who had changed into comfortable clothes, was waiting for me. I was a bit scared because the path to the mansion was too dark, but this was good.
I was about to run to him with a bright smile, but my reddened eyes from crying a little while ago due to the upsetting feeling bothered me. Slightly lowering my head so it wouldn’t show, I approached him and asked,
“Did you come to get me?”
“You weren’t inside.”
Taebeom took the bag from me with a nonchalant face. The tips of his ears peeking out from his black slacks and thin cardigan were slightly red. Although he didn’t say it, it seemed he had waited for a long time.
As I followed Taebeom who was leading the way, the chick keychain hanging from the end of the bag moved back and forth, looking so out of place with him.
“Pft-“
At the sound of my laughter, Taebeom, who had stopped walking, stared down at me intently. As he turned his body, the keychain attached to the bag swung even faster. The moment I couldn’t hold back my laughter anymore and giggled, Taebeom’s expression loosened for a split second then returned to being expressionless.
Ah… it’s too funny. The sadness from things not going well was momentary. Laughter kept spilling out even though it was nothing. I ran to him who had turned his head to start walking again and grabbed the tips of his fingers. As expected. I was right that he waited a long time. The fingertips of Taebeom’s hand that I tightly held were frozen cold. As much as his hands were cold, my heart warmed and I smiled at him with the corners of my eyes curved.
“I must have missed you, Taebeom.”
At my words, Taebeom’s feet abruptly stopped. Looking up at his frozen face facing forward, I opened my mouth again.
“No, I missed you.”
He turned his head with a face that seemed to have misheard and stared at me as if observing my everything. I felt his lingering gaze on my cheeks. My shadow stretched long over his shadow shaded by the streetlight.
I lifted my head at his touch on my cheek. His gaze looking at me was so hot it seemed to melt my skin. Although I wanted to turn my head to avoid his flushed face, I couldn’t move because of his firm grip holding me.
I didn’t know where to look as his gaze slowly descended along my lips. I didn’t know why that gentle touch caressing my cheek was so embarrassing.
“Did you cry?”
“…Ah.”
Taebeom asked while rubbing the corners of my eyes. Startled, I removed his hand and stepped back. I was afraid he would hear my pounding heartbeat rather than my reddened eyes.
“I- ah.”
Taebeom grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him. With a thud, my face touched his chest. His familiar scent slowly rose into my lungs, and his heartbeat dizzied my ears.
Thump, thump, thump. At the sound of his heart running wild at a fast pace like mine, I lifted my head. Meeting Taebeom’s eyes that were staring at me intently, I let out a small breath. The spring breeze blew and he tucked my tousled hair behind my ear. My body trembled at the touch on my ear, but I didn’t avoid him.
“Cha Yuwon.”
“…Taebeom.”
I didn’t avoid Taebeom’s face getting closer and closer as he called my name. At his breath touching the tip of my lips, my toes curled inside my sneakers.
“Eek…”
His warm lips touched my lips. When I froze stiffly, not knowing what to do, I felt him smiling between our touching lips. The moment I grabbed his shoulders at the slight trembling, his thick and firm tongue entered through my tightly closed lips.
Taebeom’s tongue squeezed into my narrow mouth and moved as if exploring my everything. Strength entered my hands on his shoulders at the deepening movements. His desire to explore me was felt through his lips. My breath grew ragged at his hand holding me tightly and his hot movements pressing his body against mine.
The movements of rubbing all over my mouth and entangling our tongues quickened. Heated moans burst from my mouth and I felt like I would lose my mind at his pheromone scent seeping into my nostrils. When my legs staggered with strength leaving my body, he tightly wrapped his arms around my waist and supported me. I leaned my body that kept losing strength against him and continued the breathtaking kiss.
“Smack-“
My face flushed red at the short kiss that touched and parted at the end. I had the illusion that the hot heat still lingered in my mouth. When I covered my face out of embarrassment, he grabbed my wrist and lowered it to take in my face.
“Taebeom…”
Amidst the pitch-black darkness, the streetlight illuminated him and me. Perhaps because of that, it felt like Taebeom and I standing under it were the only people existing in this world. At least for this moment, I wanted to be greedy and not think about the original work or anything.
This time, I lifted my heels and brought my lips to his. A small smacking sound tickled my ears and he embraced my head.
In the end, the two of us melted into the heat that was unbelievably hot for March. I finally wrapped my arms around his waist.

“This is crazy, crazy…”
After my first kiss with Taebeom. Ah, of course that wasn’t my first ki…ss, but still, that day was the first kiss I remembered. Anyway, after my first kiss with him, rubbing my lips became a habit at all times.
Even while solving problems or reading a book, my hand kept going to my lower lip. I would rub my lower lip alone and recall the memory of that day, sometimes kicking my feet.
“No matter how caught up in the mood, still. What were you trying to do by doing that…”
Moreover, in the end, I even pulled him in when he tried to part his lips. Grabbing my hair alone and shaking my body, the head chef approached from afar.
“Mr. Yuwon.”
“Chef!”
“You should eat.”
The head chef was the only person who didn’t call me ‘sister-in-law’ when seeing me. The title ‘Mr. Yuwon’ was just as burdensome, but it was still more comfortable than ‘sister-in-law’.
“Wow! What is all this?”
