Is It Forbidden to Bully the Heroine of the Novel? - Chapter 7
Chapter 7
When Song Muyun heard someone calling her, her face turned pale.
Ever since she had entered the Moonlight Pavilion, only the Seventh Prince had called her. But he usually came around noon, and it was early morning now…
“Hurry up, don’t keep the distinguished guest waiting,” the boss said, waving her fan and scanning her from head to toe.
The distinguished guest… that would be the Seventh Prince.
—
Jiang Yao ordered another table of food and drink that hadn’t arrived yet, only a plate of pastries had been served.
The door creaked open and she sat up straight, looking towards the entrance.
It was Song Muyun entering.
Song Muyun probably didn’t expect to see her inside. She froze for a moment, then her eyes seemed a little red, but on closer inspection they weren’t.
“Miss Jiang.”
She called softly.
Jiang Yao nodded and waved to Song Muyun.
Song Muyun treated her differently. If it was the Seventh Prince waving at her, she would ignore him until he dragged her over by her hair. But Jiang Yao, the fierce Miss, walked over obediently.
Jiang Yao lazily pointed to the chair in front of her, “Sit down. Yesterday’s feeding was good, let’s continue today.”
She hadn’t eaten much since her early wake-up, and was hungry on the way here. She expected to eat here.
Song Muyun was surprised again. Few people came to the Moonlight Pavilion just to eat. The food here wasn’t anything special, it couldn’t compete with the cook at the Prime Minister’s Mansion. Why didn’t she have her meal there and come here instead?
Song Muyun involuntarily looked at her, her cold face showing a hint of confusion. Jiang Yao noticed it but didn’t bother to explain. Mainly because she didn’t know how to explain. Should she say, “I’m afraid Murong Qing, who is unpredictable, might bully you, so I’m here to protect you”?
That would be too kind. The fierce Jiang Miss was used to being tough on the outside, but soft-hearted on the inside. She couldn’t say such kind words.
“You haven’t had breakfast, have you? Have some pastries to fill your stomach.”
Jiang Yao lifted her chin. Song Muyun saw a plate of delicately shaped pastries.
She used to eat this kind of pastry often, but she hadn’t eaten it since she entered the Moonlight Pavilion.
“Yes, thank you, Miss Jiang.”
She replied, picking up a piece of peach-shaped pastry and eating it in small bites. A slightly whitened handkerchief caught the crumbs.
Jiang Yao leaned on her hand and watched Song Muyun eat. The more she watched, the more she was drawn to her beauty. How could Song Muyun be so beautiful? Who could bear it?
“Tsk, have some tea to wet your throat.”
Song Muyun obeyed. Whatever Jiang Yao told her to do, she did. If she was told to eat pastries, she would. The pastries were dry; she should drink some tea.
“Thank you, Miss Jiang.”
Jiang Yao was the first person to show her such consideration since her downfall.
Song Muyun sipped the tea quietly, feeling comfortable.
Song Muyun sipped the tea quietly, feeling comfortable as the warm liquid flowed down her throat.(?)
The dishes came one by one. Remembering what she had to do, Song Muyun quickly picked up chopsticks to feed Jiang Yao, following her instructions on which dish to serve.
Without Murong Qing interrupting her, she seemed more relaxed today. There was a faint smile at the corners of her mouth, no sign of worry on her face, truly elegant and outstanding.
“I want to eat fish.”
Jiang Yao gestured, and Song Muyun immediately picked up a piece of fish, carefully removing the bones, and placed it in front of Jiang Yao.
Jiang Yao smiled and quickly took a bite. She barely ate anything, and when she saw Song Muyun continuing to feed her, she dodged the chopsticks and pointed at the many dishes on the table, “No need to feed me. Eat for yourself. I’ll eat by myself from now on.”
She had come to enjoy taking care of Song Muyun, but if she continued to enjoy it, the food would get cold.
Song Muyun looked up at her, dazed. Jiang Yao tapped the table, urging her to eat quickly.
“I, I’m not hungry.”
Dressed like a fairy in white, she hastily lowered her head. Jiang Yao’s kindness made her hesitant to accept it.
“Even if you’re not hungry, eat something. Don’t just watch me eat. I can’t eat with you staring at me.”
How could she not be hungry? She had come early. She had heard that the women in the Moonlight Pavilion took care of their figures and hardly ate during meals. How could that be?
Song Muyun was as thin as a sheet of paper. Without the need to watch their figure, she thought women would look better with a little more weight.
Song Muyun blushed again at her words, but didn’t reply. She didn’t think she was too thin, but Miss Jiang did. So she should eat a little more to gain weight.
Her graceful eating habits were pleasing to the eye. Her rosy and delicate mouth could only hold a little food at a time, but her cheeks were slightly rounded, giving her a charming look.
Jiang Yao was a little taken aback. When she snapped out of it, Song Muyun’s ears had turned crimson.
Even in the past, no one had ever looked at her so directly.
“Ahem.”
—
“I can’t have people thinking I’m a pervert,” Jiang Yao coughed twice and dug into her food.
Having practised martial arts since childhood, she didn’t eat with the same refined elegance as most girls in their chambers. Her eating speed was a bit fast, and she soon finished her meal.
She took out a book from her bag and sat down by the window to read.
Seeing this, Song Muyun started to get up, but Jiang Yao raised her eyelids. “Don’t mind me, keep eating. Come over when you’re full.”
“I’m full,” she replied promptly.
Jiang Yao glanced over. The small celadon bowl was clean, with only a chicken leg bone lying beside it. She was full after eating just one leg?
“Come here,” she waved at Song Muyun.
With her hands in front of her stomach, Song Muyun obediently walked over. But the next moment, a plain white hand landed on her stomach.
Before Song Muyun could react, Jiang Yao had pressed down a bit and said seriously, “Not full, go eat some more.”
Her belly wasn’t even sticking out!
Her mind
seemed unable to function properly. She just followed the order, until she sat back down at the table and picked up her chopsticks. Only then did she realise why Miss Jiang had touched her so casually…
Author’s note:
Yunyun lowered her head shyly: Miss Jiang is going too far, how could she casually touch someone’s stomach…
Rao Rao: What’s wrong with me touching my wife’s stomach!!!!
