On the way to the royal capital, Hartelia, he defeats Earl Lemnis (Gargaine in the original) who attacks. In retaliation, he attacks the underground facilities of the royal capital. With the help of spirits, he successfully destroys the underground facility by defeating Cardinal Holmz, Priest Dolnero, and several “Apostles of Miltia”. He sends Earl Lemnis to attack the moderate faction’s influential Obraine Border Count Family, but fails. Due to Mine’s retaliation, the underground and first-floor sections of the royal castle suffer major damage. Later, he is besieged by the moderate faction in the royal castle, advocating for a thorough resistance. However, he is restrained by knights from the moderate and neutral factions. He is scheduled to be executed soon.

Learning that several moderate faction nobles and their relatives have been killed or abducted by the royal family and the pro-war faction, he becomes furious. He gathers moderate faction nobles and besieges the royal castle.

In the story, they quietly play a significant role by enhancing Mine’s and Marquis Belgard’s magic and interfering with the magic of Cardinal Holmes, the enemy of the “Beloved Child of the Spirits”.
