Since these two events were happening almost simultaneously, in the game, you naturally had to choose only one of them, and choosing ‘Lara’s Secret’ was generally considered the correct choice in Luminor Academy.

It wasn’t because Lilia lacked charm as a heroine or anything like that. The wild and healthy spear girl had her own cult-like popularity as a heroine.

However, the value of the rewards you could get after finishing the event was so different that even people who liked Lilia more than Lara generally chose ‘Lara’s Secret’.

First of all, in the case of Lara’s event, after finishing it, you get the ‘Witch’s Pendant’ as a bound item, which is an absurdly good cheat item with immunity to ‘mental attacks’ in the latter part of the game.

Also, since Lara doubles as a pharmacist in Luminor Academy, if you raise her affection in this event, you can get all the items you buy from her at half price afterward. It’s an absurdly cheat-like level of a benefit.

In a sense, the most important thing among the leftovers to eat remained, which was that the ‘scene count’ with Lara starts right after finishing the event.

Lara was a character with a gloomy, mentally unstable attribute by the standards of the original world. After solving the ‘Lara’s Secret’ case, she falls in love with the protagonist so quickly that she barges into the bedroom naked that very night.

However, if you’re wondering if she’s a character who easily gives her body to anyone, that’s not the case, and at least in the game’s sex scene, Lara was definitely a virgin.

‘If she had just been a real heroine, she would have eaten up the popularity of most of the other girls.’

The biggest flaw Lara had as a heroine was that she had so many maniacs that people would say she wasn’t a heroine. Literally, the biggest problem was that she wasn’t a heroine.

In reality, in Luminor Academy, Lara had almost no other personal events except for this one time. 

Even in the end, she was a completely non-conquerable character who lived her life as a witch regardless of the protagonist.

On the other hand, it meant that she didn’t have any aftermath asking to take responsibility just because you took her first time, so from the player’s perspective, the ‘Lara’s Secret’ episode was a good event to take a breather without having to measure various annoying conditions.

On the other hand, unlike Lara who gave various sweet rewards and even triggered an erotic event, Lilia’s rewards were bland and the event’s ending wasn’t particularly interesting, either.

First of all, the quest gives you the ‘Barbarian’s Necklace’ as a reward after finishing the story, but the performance of that item was at an inferior level compared to the ‘Witch’s Pendant’.

Lilia’s affection does increase, but there’s no bonus like discounting the items she sells as with Lara, and since Lilia isn’t particularly mentally unstable, there’s naturally no scene that begins a ‘scene count’.

Since Lara’s event was a perfect upgrade in both efficient play and erotic events, we’ll probably all depart by carriage for the Witch’s Forest in the southwest in about four days.
