I Became a Scoundrel of a Chaebol Family - Chapter 10
“Sir! We have a big problem!!”
A man with round glasses, who appeared somewhat clumsy, barged into the large office, swinging the door wide open.
Startled, the woman who had been lounging lazily sprang up.
“Ah! You scared me! I told you to knock and wait for permission before coming in!”
“Oh! Uh, right…!”
Flustered by her scolding, the man stumbled back outside.
Once outside, he knocked on the already open door.
“Ugh. This idiot…”
The woman sighed, thinking to herself, ‘When will he ever stop doing that?’
Reluctantly, she got up.
The man nervously entered again, still fidgeting.
“What is it?”
“Well, uh… Um…”
The woman looked at him as if she was about to sigh again at any moment.
He quickly adjusted his glasses and took a deep breath.
“Go-ryeo Prestige has requested a list of all the female celebrities and trainees in our company. Only young women, specifically.”
“Wait, what? Go-ryeo Prestige?”
“It’s a subsidiary of the Go-ryeo Group.”
“I know that much!”
Yelling in frustration, the woman stood up and began pacing around her desk.
“Why would the Go-ryeo Group suddenly take an interest in a small company like ours? We haven’t done anything to get on their bad side…”
“Um. Actualy, ma’am, we aren’t just any small company. We’re a government-designated exemplary business in Incheon. We’re classified as a small giant, technically.”
“…”
The woman started to say something but stopped herself.
‘He’s always been clueless, even back in school.’
Saying something now won’t fix that… Unfortunately.
“Go-ryeo Prestige isn’t just a subsidiary, it’s basically where all the owner family’s lackeys work. There’s no way they’d suddenly want info on our girls without a reason. Find out who’s behind this. We need to understand what they want to respond properly.”
“Oh. I’ve already looked into it.”
“Really?”
The man handed over some papers.
“The person who made the request was a woman named Seo Eun-mi. She was appointed as Go Mu-yeol’s secretary just today.”
“Ah.”
The woman groaned as she took the documents.
Go Mu-yeol.
He wasn’t a name well-known among the general public, but in the entertainment industry, there wasn’t a single grandson of the Go-ryeo Group more infamous than him.
A man obsessed with women and drugs.
If he spotted a female celebrity he liked, he’d either slide into her DMs or have his people contact her agency.
He was just shameless.
If he were just a regular crazy guy, she could ignore him.
But the fact that he was part of the Go-ryeo Group’s owner family made him a real problem.
“Well, I guess the time has come. Ugh…”
She ran her hand through her hair, frustrated.
Of course, Go Mu-yeol had been persistently sending DMs to the celebrities signed with her agency, ‘Rainbow Miracle’, for some time.
While he hadn’t directly contacted the agency yet, that streak ended today.
The day had finally come.
“What should we do?”
“….”
What should they do, indeed?
“They only asked for the list? No other requests?”
“They asked for the photos to be sent along.”
“I meant, did they have any other demands besides that?”
“Oh! Um. They wanted the groups to be organized separately—”
“Jeez. You really—”
“N-no, there were no other requests! Just the list. That’s it.”
“Ugh… That perverted bastard would usually demand specific names or something. No way that’s not what he’s after.”
It was an open secret that people with absurd amounts of money in the entertainment industry behaved recklessly with female celebrities.
But Go Mu-yeol was on another level.
His behavior was so notorious that it was widely gossiped about within the industry.
If he was contacting the agency directly, it was undoubtedly to pursue those activities.
“Fine. Give them the list as they asked. In the meantime, reach out to our girls and see if anyone’s gotten DMs from him recently.”
“Y-yes, ma’am!”
Two hours later.
“Boss! We’ve got a problem!”
Once again, the man barged into the CEO’s office like he was about to knock the door off its hinges.
“….”
The woman sighed, already used to his antics.
She was too tired to even comment anymore.
“Alright. Did you find out anything?”
“Y-yes. None of the girls have received any messages from him recently. But that’s not the real issue here—”
“No recent DMs? So now he’s just gonna pick someone off the list, like it’s his personal brothel? Unbelievable.”
“Th-that’s not the problem, ma’am!”
“Then what is?”
“H-he’s coming here. Go Mu-yeol said he’s coming to visit in person!!”
“What?!”
The woman jumped to her feet in shock.
———
Skyscrapers flashed by through the car window.
With its towering buildings stacked together, Incheon was suffocated under the weight of housing 30 million people.
Wherever you went, the city was filled with these oppressive structures.
One of the most problematic areas was Songdo Future City, where the uppermost class lived, along with the recently developed Ganghwa Economic Special Zone.
They had redeveloped an entire island, almost as large as Incheon itself, and turned it into a crowded metropolis that rivaled Hong Kong.
And right in the heart of that special zone was my current destination.
“Hmm… Is it really all that?”
Im Soo-ah, who was at the wheel, tilted her head as she stared at a floating image projected into the air.
“Master, no matter how I look at them, they just seem so-so. Are these people really that special?”
“They are.”
In two years, those girls would become the world’s top idols.
Sure, they might not look like much right now.
They still had baby fat, and their true faces hadn’t fully matured yet.
“Heh… Well, if it’s your taste, Master, I respect that…”
“What good is your respect to me?”
I lightly kicked the back of her seat, signaling her to stop with the unnecessary comments and focus on driving.
She quickly snapped back, saying, “Ah, s-sorry,” and shut her mouth.
Seriously, she talked too much.
Though, having someone next to me who never talked—like the National Intelligence Service spy riding with us—would be equally annoying.
———
At the underground parking lot of Rainbow Miracle.
“We’ve arrived, sir.”
As the situation shifted to a more professional setting, Soo-ah corrected her tone and addressed me formally as she opened the car door.
Stepping out of the vehicle, I noticed a few people from Rainbow Miracle waiting.
A group of large men in black suits and a slender woman stood at the center.
“… Who’s she?”
The woman in the middle was a striking beauty, so much so that I muttered without thinking.
But was she someone I recognized?
Not at all.
I’d never seen her before, and even as I racked my brain for any clues from my game knowledge, nothing matched her appearance.
She approached, wearing a professional smile, but there was an underlying coldness.
It felt like, beyond that smile, she was looking at me with disdain.
“If you’re asking ‘who she is’… Well, it’s only right to answer, isn’t it?”
A sultry voice answered as she approached and handed me a business card.
“I’m Emilia Kang, the CEO of Rainbow Miracle. Just call me Emilia.”
“Emilia?”
She was the CEO of the agency? Her?
“Yes. Shall we head inside? It’s not really the kind of conversation to have out here.”
“Oh, sure. Let’s do that.”
I couldn’t believe someone like her was running a talent agency.
Maybe she used to be an actress who transitioned into this role?
Either way, it was a bit shocking.
‘Is it just because this is a game world? These stunning women just keep popping up everywhere.’
I hadn’t said it out loud, but even the random people walking around here were far more attractive on average than the people in my world.
I might be exaggerating a bit, but it felt like everyone here was ridiculously good-looking.
And then there were these named NPC-like characters like Im Soo-ah, Seo Eun-mi, and now Kang Emilia, all with even more striking appearances.
‘What a blessed world.’
‘It’s a place where my… urges never seem to go away.’
———-
“Welcome to Rainbow Miracle!”
“Ah, welcome…!”
As soon as the elevator opened on the 10th floor, where the CEO’s office was located, about a dozen women greeted us with bright smiles.
There was also some awkward-looking guy in the back, but he wasn’t worth paying attention to.
“Whoa.”
I couldn’t help but let out a small sound of admiration.
Each one of these women was dressed in somewhat revealing outfits, showing off their own unique styles, and everywhere I looked, I could see soft, full curves.
“Since we heard the young master was coming in person, we hurriedly gathered the girls who were available. Unfortunately, we couldn’t bring everyone.”
Emilia said with a subtle glance.
On cue, two girls clung to my arms, and the rest formed a circle around me.
I could feel soft breasts pressing against my arms as they leaned in closer, their sweet perfume surrounding me.
The sensation was enough to make my lower half tighten.
Emilia checked her wristwatch.
“Would you like to take a break before we get down to business? I don’t mind either way.”
“Take a break?”
This was obviously a form of entertainment.
From what I could recall from my memories as Go Mu-yeol, agencies like this had special ‘hospitality teams.’
These were usually girls who hadn’t quite made it to full stardom but were in that in-between phase.
They’d often get assigned to entertain people like me.
“CEO, I can handle the business discussions, so please feel free to take a break in the meantime. You’ve come all this way, after all.”
Soo-ah chimed in, catching on quickly.
“Yes, oppa. Come relax and chat with us for a bit.”
“We just released a new song, oppa! You’ll be the first to hear it!”
With over ten girls pressing close to me, their sweet scents filling the air, my body reacted instantly.
I was already hard.
‘The trainees aren’t going anywhere… so maybe I can relax for a bit?’
