Summary
Jeong Yoonui, an A-class guide who had been following the elite path with his exceptional abilities, finds himself demoted and condemned by everyone after that incident. Labeled as the “guide who abandoned an S-class Esper on-site and fled the gate without authorization,” he has spent the last five years living as the so-called “guide who killed an Esper.”
By chance, Yoonui ends up guiding a rampaging rookie S-class Esper, and before he knows it, he becomes the target of this young and audacious Esper’s relentless advances.
“Deputy Manager, can I call you hyung (older brother)?”
“No.”
“Then should I just drop the formalities altogether? After all, even bad laws are still laws—if we’re more than a decade apart, doesn’t that make us the same age?”
Caught off guard by the naive yet headstrong Hyeonju, Yoonui finds himself swept along helplessly. Gradually, he begins to rely on Hyeonju’s warmth and sincerity.
But deep within Yoonui’s heart stands an impenetrable wall:
I am a guide who killed an Esper.
Can I truly allow myself to love this young and radiant Esper?
