Husband, Spend Some Gold Coins - Chapter 86
After Xie Qi finished speaking, he couldn’t help but sigh at how eloquent he had been – to be honest, had he ever been so eloquent before?
Probably not, and even if there had been such an occasion, there would have been no need for it.
Unfortunately, Qin Yizhi was not amused; he still looked at him solemnly.
Xie Qi began to feel panicked, and he thought that Qin Yizhi really did like him.
Because when Qin Yizhi touched him, there had been a reaction, and Xie Qi had felt it.
Nothing could be more convincing than that.
He couldn’t help but think of the mountain climbing incident and realized a question had quietly been answered. Was it possible that Qin Yizhi hadn’t reacted because he had pinched his so-called “kitten ears,” but rather because he had accidentally kissed him when he fell?
It was normal for high school students to react frequently, but how could an adult man react to casual touches?
It could only mean… he liked him.
Xie Qi swallowed, feeling his throat go dry, so he found an excuse, “…I’m thirsty, I’m going to get some water.”
After saying that, Xie Qi was about to make his escape, but Qin Yizhi stopped him and said calmly, “Are you planning to get away with that?”
Xie Qi: “…”
He turned around in embarrassment and asked, “What do you want?”
Qin Yizhi replied calmly, “Since you don’t plan to do it, then don’t bring it up. I think it’s basic courtesy to mean what you say.”
Xie Qi: “…”
Why was it escalating?
Xie Qi replied, “…Didn’t I show it to you? I even lifted it up for you because I was afraid, you’d think I was intersex.”
Qin Yizhi: “…”
Only then did he understand what Xie Qi had meant by teasing him.
Seeing his expression, Xie Qi felt that he seemed a bit colder. For some reason, he wanted to laugh but couldn’t hold it back and ended up chuckling.
Under Qin Yizhi’s gaze, he suppressed his smile and murmured, “I won’t be so quick to joke in the future. Please spare me this time.”
In truth, if Qin Yizhi wanted it, Xie Qi felt that it wouldn’t be unacceptable. After all, he had prepared himself for it a long time ago.
But… it didn’t feel right to do it now.
Xie Qi’s face grew hot, and he didn’t dare to look at Qin Yizhi. He lowered his head and went into the bedroom to get some water.
The temperature-regulated kettle always had hot water. Xie Qi poured a glass of warm water and drank it, feeling his throat was much better.
Qin Yizhi followed him in, staying silent, and got on the bed before him. He reached out to ruffle his hair, faint shadows beneath his eyes showing a tired demeanour.
Xie Qi glanced at him, looked again, then put down the glass and walked to the bed, keeping a little distance between them.
Qin Yizhi looked down at the space between them, reached out to turn off the light, and laid down.
Xie Qi thought it would stay like that until morning, but unexpectedly, he pushed the quilt aside, rolled over to Qin Yizhi, and reached out to hug him.
His voice was still a bit hoarse, but it soon returned to its usual clear tone, “Are you tired?”
Qin Yizhi felt Xie Qi’s soft body against him, a dark gleam slipping through his eyes, and he replied lightly, “I’m not tired.”
Xie Qi didn’t believe it; he had eyes and could see.
He thought guiltily about how he had promised Yao Xingchen to treat Qin Yizhi well, yet in the end, he had done nothing.
To be fair, Qin Yizhi had given him so much and told him to take as much as he wanted. But now, as Qin Yizhi clearly wanted intimacy and showed desire for him, could he really ignore it so easily?
Xie Qi’s heart began to beat faster. He propped himself up, lowered his head, leaned over, and kissed the corner of Qin Yizhi’s mouth, quickly pulling back.
Qin Yizhi: “…”
The string of reason within him snapped. He grabbed Xie Qi’s waist, flipped him over, and kissed him intensely.
“!!” Xie Qi wanted to shout, but the sound was forced back into his throat.
Qin Yizhi’s warmth enveloped him, and he was reminded of how high Qin Yizhi’s body temperature was, almost engulfing him. His whole body grew so hot that he felt weak.
Qin Yizhi’s breath flowed into Xie Qi’s nose like waves. Xie Qi could also feel Qin Yizhi’s unique scent on his lips and tongue—a hint of cold, woody aroma poured heavily into his mouth.
Xie Qi was rendered speechless, and his mind seemed to be muddled by Qin Yizhi’s kisses.
Previously, Xie Qi had managed to stay calm purely because Qin Yizhi had held back. This time, he showed little restraint, leaving Xie Qi thoroughly flustered.
Despite his confusion, Xie Qi could feel his whole body heating up, as though he were being swallowed by magma, burning him until he lost all sense.
Unknowingly, his upper body clothes had been removed. Qin Yizhi, tall with broad shoulders, completely covered him. The close, confined space made it hard for Xie Qi to breathe.
“No,” Xie Qi suddenly thought, snapping back to his senses, “No!” He reached out to push Qin Yizhi, but he couldn’t tell if it was because his hands lacked strength or because Qin Yizhi’s body was too firm to budge.
Xie Qi kept struggling but couldn’t free himself from Qin Yizhi’s grip.
This struggle seemed to displease Qin Yizhi, who pinned Xie Qi’s hands above his head, making further movement impossible.
When his mouth was finally released, Xie Qi had a chance to speak, but he panted heavily, unable to form words for a while – he couldn’t believe he’d made such sounds!
