Tae Young-won (Top): 25 years old, 4th year Business Administration major at Korea University

The most popular person on campus. A business major who’s the object of admiration wherever he goes. Despite his fame, his private life remains mysterious. The only known fact about him is that he’s surprisingly conservative in relationships and has a clean record with women, contrary to his looks. Though he initially denies falling for someone, once he becomes aware of his feelings, he only knows how to face them head-on.

Mo Yeon (Bottom): 21 years old, 2nd year Economics major at Korea University

The biggest loner on campus.

#FullOfNegativeEnergy #PrettyWithoutGlasses #TimidAndShy

He’s been able to see ghosts since childhood. His face, hidden behind long bangs and horn-rimmed glasses, is always shadowed. After discovering that ghosts don’t approach him when he’s near sunbae Young-won from their shared elective class, he’s been secretly stealing his positive energy. Though prickly like a hedgehog on the outside, he has a soft heart and unknowingly keeps pulling Young-won’s emotions in different directions.

Young-won was used to everyone approaching him with goodwill, so he became intrigued by Mo Yeon, the strangest person in school who showed no interest in him. He eventually becomes even more clingy than the ghosts to the cat-like Mo Yeon, while simultaneously suffering from severe denial about his feelings.

Mo Yeon discovers that ghosts don’t approach Young-won, the school’s brightest star, and becomes his stalker and energy thief. In the process, he learns new things about Young-won – contrary to his public image, he actually has a sharp tongue and isn’t so clean in matters of romance.

One day, when he wasn’t wearing his glasses, Mo Yeon is mistakenly labeled by Young-won as a gay man who wants to sleep with him. After that, Mo Yeon decides to steal his energy without any guilt. Fortunately, Young-won’s terrible face recognition means he doesn’t recognize Mo Yeon at school. He doesn’t seem to connect the quiet presence at school with his “gay neighbor.”

Just as things were going smoothly, Young-won approaches Mo Yeon using a group project as an excuse…

Emotional Quote: “Isn’t this too much like ‘real lovers’? You know, that tingling relationship where people actually like each other…”
