Chapter 2: Hearing a Song, Falling in Love.

The first time you hear a song, its meaning may elude you. But the second time, you’ve become the person living within that song.

Sometimes, a familiar melody can suddenly evoke memories of someone, as if they once truly existed in this world. It seems like only yesterday we were together, yet today we walk separate paths.

While we lament the hardships of life, time quietly slips away.

There was a girl, a girl named Guoguo. Back then, she believed he was her entire world. They were both so innocent, believing the other was their destined soulmate. But reality is often less like a fairy tale. In stories, they would love each other unconditionally. But outside the story? Who truly belongs to whom?

We set off, we journey, always on the road, ultimately seeking a return home, a haven for our souls. We all know our bodies will one day fail us, but when that time comes, may our minds, thoughts, and souls continue their journey.

The Creator made this world, and they won’t only give you trials and tribulations; they will also grant you happiness.

I remember Elder Ji once said, “When lucky, think of misfortune, and don’t get too carried away. When unlucky, think of good fortune, and don’t be discouraged. Always maintain a balanced mindset and stable emotions; this is also the way to longevity.”

Back then, I thought love was my everything. But later, I realized that love is just one part of my life.

We’ve loved, hated, cried, and been tired. Those seemingly meaningless days are an indispensable part of our growth and transformation.

A tadpole growing into a big tadpole is growth, but when it becomes a frog, that’s transformation. It’s a complete metamorphosis from tadpole to frog.

In the blink of an eye, another year has passed. No one stays at the starting point forever; after all, time keeps moving forward.

What is love? Everyone feels its meaning differently. When you think of someone, is it sadness or sweet happiness? Regardless, she did accompany you for a while.
