“Everyone, calm down. Though Wende is quite handsome, he’s nothing compared to all of you! Now, let’s check out his skills.”
Kakaya, an experienced content creator, effortlessly shifted the livestream’s focus with a few words.
[Alright, alright, keep talking.]
[To be fair, that’s true.]

Space Station
March 7th saw the awakening Stelle and quickly stepped forward, squatting in front of her and waving her hand in front of those dazed eyes.
“Uh… where am I? Why do I feel all tingly all over?”
Stelle looked at the pink-haired girl in front of her with a puzzled expression, her eyes somewhat unfocused.
“Uh… this is the Herta Space Station. We are crew members of the Astral Express. As for why you’re feeling all tingly…”
March 7th turned and gave Wende a reproachful look.
Wende (turns head away)
“Anyway, are you okay now? Are you hurt anywhere? Oh, and what’s your name?”
March 7th asked, concerned about the still-confused Stelle.
“Uh… aside from feeling a bit tingly, I’m fine. As for my name… I’m called Stelle.”
Seeing Stelle’s muddled expression, Wende glanced at his own finger. Did he really use too much force and accidentally shock the girl?
“Pa~ Pa~ Pa~ Pa~”
A segment of Pom-Pom’s singing ringtone suddenly rang from March 7th’s waist. Under Stelle’s bewildered gaze, March 7th excitedly answered the call.
“Hello? March, Can you hear me?The communications on the space station have been restored. I’m now in the main control cabin with Asta. The enemies here have been cleared. Hurry over!”
“Oh, got it! We’re on our way!”
March 7th nodded and then hung up the phone.
“Alright! Let’s go! Don’t worry, we’ll get you there safely!”
March 7th assured the still-dazed Stelle, patting her chest in reassurance.
At the same time, Dan Heng’s phone received a message.
“March, you go ahead. Asta just messaged me that Arlan from the defense department lost contact nearby. I need to find and bring him back.”
“Hmm, okay. Be careful.”
With that, March 7th led the two newcomers towards the main control cabin.
Stelle, holding a baseball bat she found somewhere, walked with March 7th at the front, while Wende covered the rear.
Watching the chatter between March 7th and Stelle, Wende pondered deeply.
Although the plot had deviated somewhat from what he remembered on the beta, it was still following the original storyline. Wende’s presence only delayed the Astral Express crew’s arrival at the space station, but it didn’t change anything substantial.
They encountered a few Voidrangers on the way, but Wende dispatched them easily with electric needles. Feeling Stelle’s intense gaze from the side, Wende suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable.
So this is what it feels like to be watched by the protagonist…
“By the way, are you really from the space station? You’re not even wearing the uniform.”
March 7th, noticing Stelle’s confused demeanor, pinched her smooth chin in thought and tilted her head towards the girl curiously rifling through a box.
“I can’t remember…”
Stelle closed her eyes and tried to recall but found her mind blank. She shook her head helplessly, her hands not pausing in their search.
“I see–Wait! Don’t rummage through other people’s boxes! Wende, stop her!”
March 7th watched as Stelle fully immersed herself in the treasure box, looking to Wende for help with a pleading expression.

Reality
[I’m glad Wende is not a real person, otherwise, hundreds of people in here would already get sued on the basis of sexual harassment.]
Kakaya chuckled at the chat’s comments. Although still a bit off-kilter, his chats were at least somewhat normal now, which was a huge relief compared to the madness earlier.
Kakaya wasn’t alone in this experience. Other streamers broadcasting Honkai: Star Rail were also undergoing a “crisis” upon discovering Wende’s Path. The smarter streamers had already managed their chicken farms, while the even smarter ones simply joined in.
“Ahhhhh! Chat, who else also felt the same? That this man gives such a damn sense of security!”
A female streamer online was losing it.
[Whoa—Sis, please act normal! We’re scared!]
[Scared +1!]
[+2]
[I’m new here, is this the KFC kitchen?]
[No, you’re in the wrong place. This isn’t where they sell fried chicken.]
It turned out that if the streamer acted crazier than the viewers, the tables would turn, making the viewers the ones who felt uneasy…
Switching back to Kakaya.
Kakaya opened Wende’s skill interface and began browsing.
“Hmm, he got a normal Basic ATK, but his Skill stacks an additional healing buff. It seems his healing capability is really good.”
“Alright, let’s look at his ultimate…”
Ultimate: Substance Replenishment: Immediately restore a large amount of health to a designated unit and remove one debuff from them.
“Oh?”
Reading Wende’s ultimate skill, Kakaya raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“Wow, even though it’s single-target healing, it can clear debuffs. This could be really useful in the future!”
While the single-target healing limited its overall utility, the ability to clear debuffs was quite valuable. After all, this was a 4 Star character; if it were too powerful, what would be left for 5 Star healers?
“Let’s take a look at his talents.”
Kakaya, looking satisfied, moved the mouse to the talents section and began to read the description.
As Kakaya continued reading, his tone grew increasingly incredulous, and the chat exploded with rapid comments.
Talent: I Come, I Heal, and I Left: When healing an ally with full health, Wende boosts their attack by 20% of his own attack.
Technique: The Decider of Who Lives and Died: Instantly heals all allies; if their health is full, increases their crit rate by 20% for two turns.
Bonus Ability (Tier 2): Increases the attack of the healed ally.
Bonus Ability (Tier 4): Wende Healing can crit, giving out double the amount.
Bonus Ability (Tier 6): Wende’s crit rate is increased by 20%.
“Gulp—”
Kakaya’s gulping sound was obvious, but no one heard him, since the whole chat was exploding with excitement, with everyone spamming the word “OP”, even Kakaya himself couldn’t hold back.
“Holy crap!!!! Are you sure he’s 4 Star???”
Chat:
[“WTF! Could Wende’s true Path be Harmony instead of Abundance!??]
[This is the first time I’m seeing a Healer have a high Crit Rate! What even is this!!?]
[What!? WHAT!?!?]
[Mihoyo is giving him for free!? What, no charge?]
[Wow, a healer that can crit! Amazing!]
[I can already see Wende soloing Simulated Universe, with healing, buffs, and debuff removal!]
Slap! Slap! Slap!
Kakaya started slapping himself in disbelief.
Even though the viewers couldn’t see, they could hear Kakaya’s emotional breakdown.
Chat:
[Kakaya! Why are you hitting yourself?]
[I understand his breakdown, this is the first for Mihoyo to do something this nice]
[Did we misread the star rating? Maybe Wender is actually a 5 Star?]
[Well, Kakaya will have to add an extra “situation with Wend in the party” when making guide videos in the future. ]
[Haha, his workload just doubled! Haha!]
The chat was buzzing with diverse opinions, while Kakaya was waking himself up with his slaps. Looking again at his screen, he confirmed he wasn’t dreaming!
Seeing the overpowered talent tree, Kakaya slumped in his chair, giving up on thinking.
“Actually…if you look closely, there’s nothing special about him. It’s just some added attacks and critical rate. What’s the most important thing about the Mihoyo game character? Their own characteristics! He’s just a strong character with no special features, so the dev buff his stat as compensation—yes! Just compensation!”
Convincing himself with this reasoning, Kakaya sat back up and, ignoring the chat’s chaos, clicked on Wende’s Eidolon interface.
