Arknightcraft Modpack - Chapter 2.2: Mods
“Now, the most crucial point.”
“gamemode1”
Entering a series of commands into the interface, before Steven could even complete the input, a strange prompt sounded in his ear.
【Ding, insufficient world acknowledgment points. Forcibly entering creative mode will be *** expelled from this world.】
“What on earth? World Acknowledgment Points?”
Steven paused for a moment and then saw a strange buff appear beside his status bar.
【Rejection of World Will I: Duration ∞】 (Your strength has caused discomfort to the world’s will.)
“…”
Steven was speechless. Of course, as a transmigrator, he didn’t belong to this world, but why would the world’s will target him immediately after transmigrating? It seemed like the local guild here had no manners.
He came here to join this world, not to destroy it. Why was the world showing such hostility towards him? He glanced up at the two moons hanging in the sky and sighed quietly. It seemed that no matter which world he was in, transmigrators were always treated like unwanted guests.
This situation was similar to when he first transmigrated into the blocky world. Back then, the world’s will added various mods to counter him infinitely. In this world, it seemed more direct.
This buff didn’t seem to have any negative effects on Steven; it was more like a warning.
Steven examined his own status carefully and quickly found the section that displayed the so-called “World Acknowledgment Points.”
【Remaining World Acknowledgment Points: 15】 (Using mods consumes points, and when points are insufficient, you will face rejection from the world.)
Scratching his head, as an otaku who had read countless web novels before transmigrating, Steven easily understood the meaning of this system. In simple terms, it was a point system that limited his use of mods. If he wanted to use mods, he had to make the world acknowledge him. In theory, it was similar to earning points and trading them for mods in a system-based setting.
The only difference was that these mods were originally his, and even if he used them directly, no one could stop him. At most, he would be caught cheating and then kicked out.
Although the most unacceptable part for Steven right now was that he had worked so hard to get here, and suddenly the world was threatening to kick him out, he couldn’t accept it.
“The question is, how do you earn these so-called acknowledgment points? Do you get them by killing or doing missions?”
Steven furrowed his brow, pinched his chin, and glanced at the small map display in the upper right corner of his vision.
【Terra Continent, Iberian Beach x: 23231 z: -41754 y: 21】
The coordinates and location could be directly seen through the mini-map Mod. The name “Terra” was quite familiar to Steven.
Terraria, just like Minecraft, was a famous pixel-style sandbox game. How could an otaku like him not have heard of it?
However, theoretically speaking, shouldn’t that world also be full of pixels and mosaics? Could it really look like what he was currently seeing?
After glancing at his own face and the white-haired girl who had come over because he hadn’t reacted for a long time, Steven shook his head slightly.
The image didn’t match…
“Dada?”
The girl, who had been made dumb by Steven, obviously had no idea what Steven was thinking in his head. When she saw that he still hadn’t done anything, she took the initiative to hold his hand and place it on her head and little face. She tilted her head pitifully.
“Wait, I’ll treat you later. Be a good girl and go play in the sand over there, okay?”
Interrupted by the actions of the girl named Gladiia, Steven could only awkwardly ruffle her beautiful white hair and try to send her to the side to cool off.
【Ding, contact with plot character, World Acknowledgment Points +1.】
“Huh?”
Steven’s head-scratching motion froze once again.
What’s going on? He can get points just by touching people?
