After the Villainess Proposed to Me - Chapter 52
“Wu Chen, what are you doing!?”
Sylvie’s eyes widened in shock as she stared at the scene before her—her husband embracing another woman intimately.
“Wife, you misunderstood. It’s not what you think! Let me explain!”
“Wife? Didn’t you marry me? Why do you have another wife?”
The woman in Wu Chen’s arms, Xia Yueyun, was too stunned to feel embarrassed, her face blank at the sudden revelation.
Are there other victims besides myself?
Damn, so this isn’t your first offense!
“Where did this vixen come from… Wait, the Full Moon Witch!?”
Sylvie snapped out of her initial shock and realized that the woman in Wu Chen’s arms was the previously arrogant Full Moon Witch.
What’s going on?
My husband is so amazing? In just one night, he managed to deal with a witch?
“I think I get it now. But even if you succeeded, Wu Chen, did you really have to be this impatient?”
“We’ve been dating for so long, and you’ve never held me like that.”
Sylvie pouted with a hint of jealousy.
“I’m telling you, this is just a misunderstanding…”
Seizing the moment as Sylvie’s mood seemed to calm down, Wu Chen quickly explained the entire situation.
“I see. So you’ve successfully defeated the witch as the first step.”
Sylvie approached Xia Yueyun, revealing a smug smile.
As someone who had once been a goddess, Sylvie had seen the witches flaunt their powers for a long time.
Now that a witch had finally been put in her place, Sylvie felt quite satisfied.
Aren’t you witches supposed to be so powerful?
Hmph, but you still have to bow down before my husband!
“Sylvie, we’re both victims here. You should help me!”
Xia Yueyun was slowly coming back to her senses, and realizing she had found a comrade with a similar plight, her emotions ran high.
“Who’s a victim like you?”
“I willingly accepted Wu Chen’s proposal and became his lawfully wedded wife. I’m not like you.” Sylvie pouted, puffing her cheeks.
She had been the first to arrive, yet Xia Yueyun had the wedding ring while she did not, which made Sylvie feel quite unfair.
“Sylvie! You’re a demon king under Litia, I didn’t expect you to be such a traitor!”
“Marriage is a major life decision; how can it be considered betrayal?”
Sylvie blinked and proudly puffed out her chest.
She had been engaged to Wu Chen before falling from grace and joining the demon race, so this wasn’t some kind of betrayal to them.
Gazing at Sylvie’s ample bosom beneath her white gown, and then down at her own modest figure, Xia Yueyun’s shoulders slumped.
Damn it! I lost!
Fueled by an inexplicable sense of competition, Xia Yueyun continued comparing her body to Sylvie’s. Suddenly, she noticed a weak point and brightened up.
“Sylvie, where’s the wedding ring on your hand?”
“!!”
Hit where it hurt, Sylvie’s body trembled slightly.
“Hmph, I thought you were impressive, but you don’t even have a wedding ring.”
Xia Yueyun forced herself to disregard her embarrassment and continued to flaunt.
“Hubby~~ I’m leaving now, but let’s continue tomorrow, okay~~”
“I’m sure you can give me an even more thrilling experience tomorrow~~”
Xia Yueyun gathered her scattered clothes, calling out sweetly to Wu Chen, and then made a playful face at Sylvie before skipping out of the room.
What the hell, Xia Yueyun, you set me up!
Just earlier, you were so reluctant to call me husband, but now you’re doing it just to spite Sylvie? Was it really necessary?
Wu Chen couldn’t help but cover his face and sigh.
She’s deliberately causing trouble for me! Looks like I need to properly educate her tomorrow.
“Wife, don’t mind what she said.”
“Now that we have a witch as an ally, I’ll have her forge you a divine-level ring tomorrow. Then we can finally get married.”
Wu Chen pulled Sylvie into his embrace and gently whispered in her ear.
“I’m not mad.”
Sylvie smiled sweetly, turning to embrace Wu Chen as well.
At the same time, her hands naturally locked around his shoulders, making it impossible for him to escape from her embrace.
“Wu Chen, can I ask you a question?”
“Of course, you know I always love you.”
Wu Chen was quick to respond!
“Not that question.”
Sylvie shook her head with a sweet smile.
“My question is—tell me the truth! How many goddesses did you harm back then!?”
“!!”
Wu Chen instinctively wanted to step back, but Sylvie held him tightly, her soft chest pressed against him, making it clear that he couldn’t escape this gentle trap.
And it wasn’t like dealing with witches—he couldn’t just shrug off attacks from goddesses!
“Wife, why are you suddenly asking this?”
Wu Chen’s face was already drenched in cold sweat.
“What? You can’t answer me?” Sylvie leaned in closer, her voice soft as she smiled, “Guess who I ran into today?”
“Who?”
Wu Chen asked, embarrassed.
“Your old flame, the Dragon Goddess.”
Hearing this, Wu Chen’s heart sank.
Oh no, has Sylvie found out about my “drinking from every river” escapades?
Ah, I’m doomed again.
“I just went out to handle some business, and on the way, I ran into several women who’ve had a fling with you!”
“No, absolutely not. Wife, you’re exaggerating.”
“Your victims could form an alliance, and you still say it’s an exaggeration?”
Sylvie narrowed her eyes.
What’s this? There’s an alliance now? Wu Chen looked confused.
“The Dragon Goddess wants to capture you, so Litia and I are working together. We’ve even planned how to divide the spoils.”
“Litia will use space magic to divide you into three equal parts. I chose the head, Litia takes the torso, and the Dragon Goddess wants the lower half.”
“After all, being able to talk to Wu Chen every day is the most important thing. Plus, I can still kiss you, hehe.”
Sylvie smiled blissfully.
“Wait, don’t talk as if you actually intend to cut me into three parts!”
Someone save me!
…………
At the top floor of the Full Moon Witch’s palace, Xia Yueyun had just hurriedly changed her clothes when Litia and another little girl holding her hand appeared in her room.
“After not seeing you for a while, why do you seem even more feminine?”
Litia looked Xia Yueyun up and down, feeling somewhat out of place.
“You’re overthinking it.”
Xia Yueyun responded angrily.
Because now I’ve gone from a glorious single noble to a married woman!
It’s all your fault for not keeping a better eye on him. If you’d been stricter with your surveillance, how could I have possibly been tricked by your fiancé!
“Who’s this little girl? Hehe, she looks a bit like Kanna from that dragon maid anime I’ve seen, so cute.”
Xia Yueyun said, her gaze curiously shifting to the little girl beside Litia.
With her chubby little face, pudgy white legs, light purple hair, and an adorable expression, Xia Yueyun felt an urge to pick her up and give her a big hug.
“Full Moon Witch, don’t you recognize me?”
The little girl’s voice was sweet and cute, but her tone was surprisingly mature.
“Th-This… Dragon Goddess!? How did you end up like this?”
Xia Yueyun was startled.
The little girl then spun around, her form suddenly expanding. When the light faded, she had transformed into a mature and voluptuous beauty.
“I came here to investigate a few things and needed to conceal my identity, so I changed into my childhood form.”
“This way, even if that guy sees me, he won’t recognize my true self.”
“I’m currently using the alias Luo Li, so don’t call me Dragon Goddess. It would reveal my identity.”
The Dragon Goddess smiled, and with a flash of white light, she transformed back into the little girl.
“So, what brings you here?”
Xia Yueyun crouched down and couldn’t resist pinching the little girl’s soft cheeks.
“Witch, stop pinching me. I’m here mainly because…”
Before Luoli could finish, her bright, watery eyes suddenly locked onto Xia Yueyun’s small hand. She froze, her expression instantly changing as she quickly grabbed Xia Yueyun’s hand.
“Where did this ring come from? Who gave it to you?”
