“Good morning, Mr. Mikhail.”
“Good morning, Lunaria. Your face is still red. Are you okay?”
The following day, Lunaria’s fever had completely gone, and her health returned to normal. Her face was still red, but it was for another reason.
“I’m fine! Um, yesterday was…”
“Lunaria, I love you.”
“…..!”
Without any hesitation, Mikhail started whispering words of love to her in the morning. It seemed that he was a man who became sweet to his lover. And before she knew it, the breakfast was ready.
She replied with an even more flushed face, “Me too,”. An awkward silence between the duo had begun but Lunaria kept looking at Mikhail with deep affection.
As they finished breakfast and enjoyed a cup of herbal tea after the meal, Mikhail started to speak.
“Lunaria, about yesterday, are you sure you don’t want to go back to your world?”
Although the two had found out that their feelings for each other were mutual, there was only one month left before Lunaria would be summoned back to her world. Hence, they both had to think about Lunaria’s future.
“There are people in the original world who believe in you and are trying to help you, aren’t there? Besides, if you stay here, you won’t be able to see your family anymore.”
‘Yes, that magician said he would save me. And I won’t be able to see my father, mother, and brothers anymore. But still…’
“It hurts me to think about my family and the only person who believed in me. But it hurts even more when I think of the day I would leave you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life.”
“I understand. I can’t imagine my life without you anymore. Let’s figure out a way to prevent you from being summoned back.”
“Thank you, Mr. Mikhail, for-”
“Can you just call me Mikhail?”
“Yes, Mi-Mikhail…”
Mikhail then took Lunaria’s hand and kissed it softly, his heart filled with love as he listened to her when she called out his name. Lunaria finally couldn’t take it anymore and let go of all her worries.
